Buffalo won't trade us Cozens for Lindholm straight up, lol. I appreciate there's some fan fiction to message board trade proposals, but it MUST be better than that. It must be, or else we're just saying ****.

Buffalo won't trade Cozens one for one for even an extended Lindholm. Markstrom getting the equivalent of 2 first rounders plus Comrie is insane. I'd love it for the Flames if that did happen though.

Simple answer is GreenLantern does not like Cozens. He has it as Lindholm = Rosen + 1st and then Markstrom gets Cozens added in the deal for salary lol.

Everything I know about the Sabres. I learned in the last half an hour don’t hold me to any particular proposal. All I want is more high pics and recent first rounders Rosen looked intriguing last year and he seems to be developing well. I’m more interested in him on the flames next year than anyone off Buffalo’s roster they might include to make this happen.

You never know - Buffalo might trade Cozens one for one for Lindholm - he couldn’t crack 70 points in the highest scoring season in 20 years, and he’s a tire fire defensively.
If it’s just a straight swap, and I’m sitting on $14M in cap space, it’s not inconceivable.
The only thing Cozens has on Lindholm is age.

On what basis is Cozens a tire fire defensively?
I haven't seen a ton of Buffalo games so it may be the case but he was always fine defensively in junior so it would be odd if he turned into a tire fire at the NHL level.
