I think for the first time in my life I'm not eagerly anticipating a new Civ game. Just the thought of Civ VII makes me tired. I'm officially old.
He's probably not super involved in it as much any more but I was thinking about the various games Sid Meier made. Got to meet and chat with him for a while back during a Firaxicon. Remembered playing Colonization. Now that is a game that simply could not be made today. Not without the internet burning down.

This was my favorite trailer from Gamescom by far, looks amazing and I love Tarsier Studio's work. I'm not even a horror game guy but something about their style just tickles my fancy, as they say.
Flying from Billund, Denmark to Cologne right now in the A319
I am flying around the Caribbean right now but once I get that trip all completed gonna do a bunch of 319/321 flights. DCA and MDW are on my list. Paro in time as well.
On console it’s been great but this combat is hard to get used to. It may click eventually but I’m currently on like the 6th or 7th boss and he’s been whipping me silly for an hour. Gonna take a break because it’s not particularly fun right now. Come back to it later or maybe go grind underlings and level up a bit more I dunno
Edit: Christ on the cross that took forever. Nice little difficulty spike from words with friends to Dark Souls for one boss Yeesh
