Fields of Mistria, I have to recommend it. Easily the best game in this genre since Stardew Valley, and I’m very picky. Just endlessly charming, fun, lots of depth to everything. The character dialogue is fantastic, I’ve played over ten hours and don’t think I’ve seen a repeat conversation yet, NPCs hang out and interact with each other and are always talking about events. I’m usually not one for the characters / relationships in these types of games but it blows away any other game like this by a mile, period.
Only caveats are that it’s Steam only, and just released in Early Access. So the content only goes so far, not a lot of town festivals and you can only level up to a certain point. But it’s doing very well on Steam so I don’t doubt the developer will follow their roadmap.
If you like Stardew Valley or Story of Seasons style games in the slightest you need to check it out.

Some people like different colors or custom jobs on their controllers and consoles (cars too). The value on some of the rare console stuff down the line are crazy for whatever reason.
I've got a sealed 20th Anniversary and 500 million PS4 somewhere.
EDIT: With the recent Radio Shack clear out and the cheap dualsense edge, should be easy to deal with any drift. That quick cheap module swap should be great for that.
I was going to say, if you have the extra cash, buy the edge and a couple backup modules and not worry about it moving forward.
Being a Xbox first guy and only using my PS5 for exclusives I'm interested in, I can kind of see why PlayStation users get excited for the controllers. Not having an equivalent to Xbox Design Lab, in my opinion, makes some users excited at not having a plain white controller. Official Sony controllers with different looks only come along ever so often and when they do people snatch them up.

Don’t get me wrong, I love a fun colorway. The two I have aren’t your standard white or black.
It’s just one of those things that seems silly to buy if you don’t actually have a controller to replace, because at the end of the day it’s the exact same controller and doesn’t offer anything extra, and you don’t even really look at it while you’re gaming.
People collect that kind of stuff. I bought the Starfield Xbox controller because I needed one. It was a limited edition and I ended up selling it at a profit because I don't need a controller to remind me of that stinky game.

Nah the PS5 is played mostly by my kids, I need three functional controllers for them and I'm definitely not spending $300 on one for someone to abuse, lol.

The design of the Starfield controller is one of the best I've seen. I regret not buying one.
I missed this but, what? There’s 12 different designs you can buy right now lol.
Wow 12... So many. Forgive me but that's hardly alot n my opinion. Xbox has 26 released this generation and that doesn't include the options and combinations you can create in XBOX Design Labs lol.

Ok, well that’s an unreasonable opinion so you’re clearly just trying to make this into a weird Xbox vs PS5 thing.
Sorry the console didn’t sell so they needed to throw a bunch of controller designs at you I guess?

No, I'm just not a fan of someone saying 12 is a large selection when in my opinion it isn't and then saying my opinion is unreasonable when I say a different company offers more than double along with an option to design and personalize your own controller.
I only have a base elite 2 and an edge controller so I don't really care for all the options.

Xbox has had such a disastrous gen that things like that are really all the Xbox guys can tout - more controller colours.
I mean...not really. They've had a foundation laying 'generation'.
Xbox had a terrible Xbox One generation, and Sony destroyed them and have rode that momentum to new heights this gen.
I think largely though, this generation is a joke as far as gamers are concerned and has brought about the end of console 'generations'. Look around at generational exclusives...there's not much. Sony has Spider-Man 2, Ratchet & Clank, and uh...Returnal?
This whole generation is effectively a .5 hardware iteration - the PS4 Super Pro. What Microsoft has been doing this generation is focusing on the fact that these generation cycles are caput, and also playing catch up on the whole 'acquiring studios' side of things that Sony did at a pretty steady pace last gen while Microsoft sat idly by.
It's about services, and getting your games (where the money is made) into as many hands as possible. Sony is attempting to do this as well, but it's been a slower pace.

The most recent NCAA patch is so bad I uninstalled the game entirely. EA managed to kill a decade of anticipation in a month, that’s gotta be a record. Well done
I keep reading this on the socials too, brutal! Apparently I need to play it more, as I've only played a couple games in my Dynasty since the patch, and the only difference I've noticed (outside of new uniforms) is that my formerly unstoppable Speed Option route now only gets between 5 and -5 yards.
UPDATE: I've played a few games...I definitely get it now. Oof

God of War Ragnarok too...and then a bunch of remakes (Demon Souls, Last of Us 1, Ghost of Tsushima.
But in terms of software both Sony and Microsoft have had probably the slowest start to a generation ever. It's crazy to think we are almost 4 years into this console cycle and we haven't really seen that big step up in the volume of major releases yet.
COVID played an impact for sure, and even for PS4/Xbox One era the first couple years were fraught with remakes and remasters...but I also don't see a lot on the horizon that makes me go "This generation looks great".
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader: Explore the grimdark future like never before and take on Mankind’s most horrifying enemies in this story-rich and tactically rigorous classical RPG.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous: Shake the very foundations of Golarion in this sprawling RPG, where you’ll amass nigh godlike power and lead vast armies against an infernal threat.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Season Pass 1 and 2: If the main game wasn't enough roleplaying goodness, great news, we've included both season passes containing six additional content packs adding a slew of new character options, spells, and storylines.

I picked this up yesterday. Rogue trader alone costs more than the bundle. Since I own none of the games, it seemed like a no brainer (not that I have any time to play all these games . . . ).
