I don't agree with this. Obama talked a great deal about cleaning up Washington, neutering special interest influence, and doing politics differently during his first campaign. He proceeded to appoint lobbyists to positions within government by his third day in office.
I think Trump is going to ride the same wave of dissatisfaction with the establishment to the White House.

In fact the second part of the quote above, "I hope it sinks Clinton and the DNC really learns from this", sounds more petty than Tom. So it sounds more like throwing a fit because your guy lost as opposed to legitimately having a reason to vote Trump. Bernie can't win, so spite vote wins. Really paints Bernie supporters in a very responsible, adult like manner.

this is absurd. what if someone cant find a political party or candidate they dont 100% agree with? they never vote? who ever agrees with someone 100% of the time. cmon, man.

Ok, lets try it this way then.
Tell us what Trump proposes that you do support, Resurrection. And tell us what he proposes that you oppose.
Do the same for Hillary, if you please.

No? Lol. Do I answer to you or something? I made my options clear on Hillary and why I think she's a terrible candidate. I'll leave it at that.

This is where the whole Bernie and Hillary voted together 93% of the time thing sort of matters though. You're acting like she's literally his antithesis, rather than being mostly similar. Basically you want 100% purity, and if you can't get it you won't vote for 93% purity, you'll go for 100 unpure instead. I'm sort of lost for words as to how you get to that point, so an example probably does it better This has been put a variety of ways, but to sum up Bernie supporters and your thought of "If I were American I'd vote for Trump"...
You go to a bar. You want Budweiser, badly. But the bar is out of Budweiser. The bar does, however, have Bud Light. Yeah it's not as good and you have to drink 4 extra beers just to get as drunk, but it's pretty close. You, however, decide that you'd rather drink bleach instead. Sort of extreme and over the top, and totally not understandable....but at least you made your point? Whatever it was?
I'm not trying to hound you, I'm just trying to understand if you're a real progressive, or if you're an anarchist.

Of course you don't answer to me. I was just curious to know if there was any depth to your position, or if it really is just a "Bernie lost and I'm salty" thing. And I have my answer. Thanks.

Also, guess who will comprise the leadership in the senate if Hillary wins?
Bernie and Elizabeth Warren. They are going to be the ones crafting the laws. There is only so much that the president can do, but there is a ton that both congress people and senators can do.
Just because there is a 7% difference does not matter. If the senate does not agree with Hillary on those differences, will those things be done? No, they won't.
Also, if the democrats win, then they will have control of the supreme court for 20-30 years, thereby cementing all of the progressive things that people want in the country.

Debbie Wasserman Shultz speaks at DNC to a chorus of boos.
Bernie pleads with supporters to rally behind Clinton, gets the bronx cheer.

Why would anything change after the election? Even if Hilary wins there is very little chance they also win the house and the senate.

54 per cent of women in the U.S. say they are pro-choice, not 94 per cent. Even among Democrats, a great many women are pro-life, owing to the party's history strength among Latinos and Catholics. A woman can think women have the right to do and be whatever they want, while also believing that human life begins at conception, not at birth.
I'm pro-choice, but I agree with Corsi that the demonization of anyone who disagrees with you is the underlying problem for so many of the conflicts we're seeing played out in the world today. Hating people who have opposing views and giving them no respect does nothing to advance your cause. It only make you feel good, and inspires your opponent to return that fury with interest. Eventually, you're left with the mindless, head-smashing polarization of the U.S. today.

Here is the problem with Clinton as I see it. It might say Bud Light on the can. She might say, here is some nice cold Bud Light, please drink up. But you can't trust the label, and you have no idea what is actually in the can. Might even be bleach.
That said, she is by far the better choice over Trump. I don't think I could bring myself to vote for her if I was an American though.

Al Franken to delegates: abandon your job and children and go do everything in your power to get Hillary elected president. ALL GLORY TO THE HILLARY
Who the heck does he think he's kidding? This is the Democratic National Convention, dammit. These people don't have jobs.

Nearly perfect analogy, just needed to use Bud Light Lime instead of bleach. Bleach goes down easier.

The analogy would have been better if instead of drinking bleach, he had said, "Screw this bar! They don't have budweiser! I'm going across the street to the other bar there! They don't have budweiser either... but they do have cockfighting, and also, there's a non-zero chance that they might throw battery acid in your face for no apparent reason."
So, the DNC is also going straight off the rails on the first night, hey? Sarah Silverman was good, but whoever's on next is running late so they're now awkwardly stalling. She did rip on Trump pretty good, basically suggesting he was given money instead of love as a child and that's why he's a maladjusted sociopath who demands the approval of everyone and can't handle criticism.
Oh it was Paul Simon. Get it together, Paul. EDIT: And he's also pretty bad. This was not worth the wait or awkwardness.

I thought she was ok. The 'you're being ridiculous' to the Bernie Or Bust people was actually pretty good.

"To the Bernie or Bust people: you're being ridiculous."
-Sarah Silverman who was met with louder than you'd expect praise. And as she said multiple times she was a big Bernie supporter.
