So if he's so worried about women giving birth, why is he trying to defund Planned Parenthood, often the only option for low income women in need of prenatal care? If he's so worried about women and babies, why is he taking money from the TANF fund that is specifically to help low income women and their children, and giving it to an anti-abortion group? Why is he not pushing for equal pay for women? Why is he not pushing for maternal leave for new mothers?
He isn't voting to help women, he's only voting to limit their rights.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you two are actually having the same argument.
WNN: Mike Pence is a misogynist.
CHL: Being pro-life doesn't necessarily make you a misogynist.

I disagree. The list is extremely solid. Mind you, after the crapshoot which was the RNC, Michelle Obama alone would have been enough IMO.

I'm going off this "schedule" and don't see Kaine.

Yeah it sounds like Kaine isn't on the schedule yet but is expected to be added for Wednesday.

So the current POTUS, the First Lady, the current Vice President, former POTUS (and her husband), her daughter, Hillary's biggest rival in the DNC leadership race and one of the most influential female Dem. senators is 'pretty weak'. I would like to hear your list of "pretty strong" speakers.

Possibly in the current political climate of reality stars and one liners some people were hoping for a more entertainer heavy lineup? Lord knows this election has shown most people have no interest in actual policy. Mayhaps Kanye is available.

But, but, Eva Longoria!
Daniel Dale @ddale825m25 minutes ago
Bernie Sanders is speaking between 8 and 10 PM - not during the prime 10 PM hour, when it's Eva Longoria, Cory Booker, Michelle Obama.

Clinton isn't going to introduce universal, single payer health care. And I doubt the Donald will have the political ability to repeal Obama care. And even if he did, it's a half measure anyways. Single payer is the end goal. The Supreme Court issue is valid, and if you want to make real political change you're going to have to risk that.

You believe Trump is somehow the bastion of integrity and an enemy of corruption. Lol, child please. At least say you'd rather vote Jill Stein, at least you'd be pretty safe from the onslaught your getting.
You are entitled to believe Hillary would be way worse for your beliefs and cause than Trump would be. But just don't ever say #### about what Trump does if he wins, because you said you would vote for him. Willingly and gladly accept what comes if he wins. If he crushes progressive values, openly cheer it on. It's what your asking for.

If I had to be pinned down I would actually like spoil my ballot or write in Bernie. Further, you're impressive strawman of me talking up Trump is stupid and unwarranted. Child please indeed. I think Trump is a belligerent ape, and I wouldn't support or endorse him tearing down any progressive values laws or regulations. That doesn't mean that I have to hold my nose and support a disgusting political slug like Clinton. Not that I have a vote... so it's all a moot point. Big ups on your grandstanding tho.

Those are all obvious choices but I expecting to see some people like Albright, Eric Holder, Cuomo, Harry Reid, Diane Feinstein. From the non politician list I expected folks like Cornell William Brooks, Oprah and some of the other A-list celebs that endorsed her.

Actually by saying you would hold your nose and vote Trump, as you clearly do right here...

... you are by default accepting of whatever Trump does. That's how voting works, you don't get to vote for Trump and then piss and moan about what he does. You have to accept what he'll do...with the GOP controlled House and Senate, no less.
In fact the second part of the quote above, "I hope it sinks Clinton and the DNC really learns from this", sounds more petty than Tom. So it sounds more like throwing a fit because your guy lost as opposed to legitimately having a reason to vote Trump. Bernie can't win, so spite vote wins. Really paints Bernie supporters in a very responsible, adult like manner.

Wait, since when? People have been doing this with Obama for eight freakin' years. Also, what if he does different things than you expected? I don't think this is right.

I think even you know I'm speaking of something different. These are people voting for Trump who will be on him from day 1. Nobody who voted for Obama was against him right away, unlike the BernieorBusters who will vote for Trump. Obama didn't get any anti-Romney or McCain spite votes.

Ahh, yes and no.
I think if one votes for Trump out of spite because they are angry Bernie lost, then I sort of agree.
But as a generality, no. It is doubtful that any individual actually supports literally everything a candidate or party promotes, so voting for said candidate does not automatically create an endorsement of literally everything said candidate does in office.
