No, and considering the death rate on our roads lately caused by ####e drivers I avoid roads when able.

watching all the WestJet cancellations are there any flights leaving YYC? Daughter was supposed to fly to Victoria this morning and was cancelled and re-booked to tonight.

So, so glad I booked my holiday weekend through today.
I have miraculously managed to avoid a few "fresh blanket" morning drives this winter, which are the worst.

At least the C4S has four wheel drive, good weight balance and a low centre of gravity. Unless there are clearance issues it should be pretty decent in the snow.
There's a reason people safari them.

Grumble all you like, but we've been hurting for a good snow pack. At the farm we've not had a proper spring run off in 5 years. This blizzard is a blessing.

Girlfriend took the L405 into work today and I took her car. The Jaguar on studded Hakkas is a tank, unflummoxed by any of this crap on the roads today. Just glorious.

Literally everyone in the office but me it would seem. And it's glorious, an introverts dream. Roads were a mess this morning but traffic was lighter than normal with everyone seemingly staying home. Commute took about 10 minutes longer than normal so not too bad. Fingers crossed it's the same this afternoon but I have my doubts.

Have to say, the 30 seconds it took to clear my front walk and sidewalk this morning before leaving the house made my October purchase of that electric snow shovel seem a lot more sensible than it previously had given how winter has gone. So easy.
