Frozen Niagra Falls seems really cool
https://www.niagarafallsreview.ca/ne...53d645511.html
Quote:
The “frozen falls” phenomenon is expected to draw a larger number of people to Niagara Falls this weekend than normal for this chilly time of year.

Following an extended period of extreme cold and snow, the world-famous cataracts have partially frozen, creating frosty mist and ice formations.

“Last Saturday we definitely saw an increase in attendance,” said Niagara Parks chief executive officer David Adames. “This weekend I think the driving conditions will be very good, so we should see a larger turnout to come and see the falls.
Quote:
“For those adventurous ones who want to zip line, the zip line is open so you can zip line down, and the view from the landing platform is also spectacular,” said Adames.
Some people are just there for the zip line anyway

I wish it was snowing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying this weather but we need moisture.

Snowpack in the mountains is well above average this year. We don't need any moisture. A normal spring, and there will likely be flooding issues.

Snow in the mountains does not stop grass fires and drought on the prairies.

Southern Alberta is just leaving the driest part of the year, precipitation and moisture will increase significantly going forward until July.

Finally snowing in the Pass is you are headed to Fernie or Castle. New chair opened at Castle to make it Alberta’s second largest resort.

Where is that? We’ve had very little snow in the Pass.

Man, it looks deep out there. I can’t see how deep because it’s too damned dark. I hope my neighbour works from home so he will have time to use his blower on our shared driveway.

Not too deep, I was getting followed by a Mercedes. I brake checked him, I could barely see him in the rear and was going the limit, lots of people were not. And it was one of those cheap-ass Mercedes I know I will be piled on for being a monster. Never driven this car in these conditions, was in 4X4 mode so I think I was good but this dork needs to race to work

Bow River Basin, you know the drainage that impacts Calgary. Poor man's Pass has no impact on us.
