Latest power roankings from ESPN have the Chiefs at #15, with teh Steelers at #1.
Interesting to say the least, I love what the Chiefs have done so far but I am not a believer in them yet. I wasn't a believer in the Broncos last year who started 6-0.
But if you're a chiefs fan its got to be great to have something to look forward to heading into October, this time last year along with others you might have bene thinking who are we going to draft next year.
It the Chiefs don't crumble in October and have a respectable 500 record than November is going to be an exciting time in KC.
Overall I am liking what I see in the NFL so far this year.
On a side note, I have a feeling the 72 dolphins have allready popped the champagne. For some reason the 3-0 teams left don't seem to be too scary to most people.
Mercury Morris sure hasn't popped the champagne. He lives on his 15 minutes of fame every year there is a late undefeated run.
Well I'm sure there are some Chiefs fans out there that are as dumb as the Oilers fans who are planning the 2011 Stanley Cup parade. I think most fans would be taking the 3-0 start in stride. Sure its been exciting so far, however there is still a long way to go.
90-95% of Oiler fans think they will miss the playoffs so I am not sure what you are getting at.

Dude, I'm on cloud 9. My best wet dreams didn't even have KC at 3-0. The only think I know is they will be undefeated after next week too!

He should get a one game suspension. You can't have players doing things like this. How would the union react to a suspension for grabing an other guys junk? Would they appeal it? What kind of message would that send if they did appeal it?

Looks like the Packers' Nick Collins is going to be a little lighter in the wallet. He threw his mouthpiece at a fan that he claimed called him something that rhymes with digger...
I can't blame him if that's the case, and I wouldn't put it past a moron fan to say something like that. Chicago isn't known for being the most friendly place to opposing teams...
No worries, I was this way with the Broncos through 6-0 last year.
yeah, Doubt we will make the playoffs but I'm non the less excited.

Looking at KC's schedule, I wouldn't be surprised to see them with at least 10 wins.
No, The more I doubt the better they play. So I doubt they are making the playoffs.

Well I'm obviously talking about the other 5-10%. Come on Dude. There are Oilers fans every year that blow their load during the preseason or early in October. Oilers fans are notorious for that. An Oilers fan was telling me two days ago about how carried away some of his fellow Oilers fans are getting with the Oilers performance so far in the preseason.
Anyhow.......Back to football.

When reality and expectations have been zero the last three seasons. Its pretty easy not to get too excited. How the Chiefs fair against the Colts and Texans could be very telling. I'm not talking about winning, just being competitive and giving themselves a chance to win.
Yeah with these games in Houston and Indianpolis I'll be looking more for if the Chiefs are competitive and at least having a chance to win the game. A lot of mediocre NFL teams are really good at home and awful on the road. The really bad teams are bad everywhere, and good teams can go into tough environments and win, or at least compete. If both those games end up 35-10 for the other team than the Chiefs are probably middling down the stretch. If those games are more like 21-17, than I think there is a bit more there than most give them credit for now.

Charity-minded callers are getting intercepted by a sex phone line because of a misprint on Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco's namesake cereal boxes.
The phone number is supposed to connect callers to Feed the Children, which benefits from sales of "Ochocinco's".
But because the box has the wrong toll-free prefix, they get a seductive-sounding woman who makes risque suggestions and then asks for a credit card number.
