Ill drop a bomb on someone occasionally to see how theyd react. Im keeping my mouth shut on the more controversial stuff, but ill talk about stuff like the gulf of tonkin incident, high profile pedos, why the moon shouldnt exist, etc. I have a strong reputation as a technical thinker and problem solver and have not had a single negative reaction in the workplace. Ive found that the type of people who inherently hate conspiracy theories are usually really weak thinkers. Engineers are actually a bit more willing to go into the weeds with the weird stuff.

Well sure, they all have magic rings that give them super powers.

I probably would be pretty surprised. I know I wouldn't want to work with somebody or have someone representing my company whose beliefs aren't grounded in reality. I was surprised Matata said he had a job. Strengthens my belief he's just trolling.

Well everyone knows that Aliens have been drilling for Oil on the moon for centuries now.
How Dinosaurs got onto the Moon in the first place, why its hollow and/or how this all happened is well and truly beyond my ability to answer.
Aliens are crafty folks.

The stamp pads used by professional engineers are laced in toxic chemicals and repetitive exposure has severe long term cognitive implications.

Most engineers are just being polite and avoiding workplace conflict or confrontations. Just because you haven’t had a negative experience doesn’t mean they’re not agreeing with your bizarre conspiracy theories. They’re probably trying to troubleshoot whatever is going wrong with your brain.

I actually haven't seen this as much lately, at least with the under 30 crowd. I thought Covid mostly killed that style when everything was closed because the look requires regular barbering. I mostly see mullets now, I knew longer hair on men would come back due to Covid - dudes tend to get attached to long hair once they grow it out. Good to hear some millennials are still clinging to their 2010s glory days haha.

The pandemic sped up the head shave for me. Realized how much I was balding when I couldn't get a haircut more regular. But, hey, on the other hand I got lots of practice styling my own beard. It's key now that I'm Mr. Clean on top.

I'm just happy my teenage son is finally ditching that permed top look that looked like a mushroom cap. It got so bad with all the boys sporting that look that I was mistaking other kids for my boy because they all looked the same from a short distance.
