Sure. But that’s still what about ism

Point is, if you are to charge a guy with some kind of crime, they tend to focus on immediate context, not what about ism

That entire process was................something.

Now what will happen in the next 2 weeks? I shudder a bit. Let's hope for the best.

As much LOL is that it’s from a political advisor, whose resume, of course, was GM at a Trump golf club

Can’t wait for the daily public discourse to be free of these a-holes

The greatest first term in history................

Is it the worst? Has to be near the top. Need an American political historian to weigh in.

As diplomatic as you are being, I don’t think you do

But I have been reading Heather Cox Richardson for longer than I ever thought I would read an American political historian

That's almost as infuriating as his riot statement. How can one person be so deluded, and so many people believe the delusions?

This was all over the EU news. Yet another stain on the American's reputation over here. Disgusting to watch. Was only a matter of time before this boiled over. For the love of god, block his twitter and all other social media accounts from him. Enough is enough.

Embarrassing to see all the MAGA goofs dressed up in the cosplay costumes running around like it's a COD game. Just as embarassing was seeing footage of Canadian's supporting Trump. WTF!?!?

yes, but what the courts ruled on several variations of this argument was the legal equivalent of

'you didn't object to any of this before the election when you should of so don't come running to us to change things after you've lost'

And once again these are arguments that are settled at the state level in the states courts, for a party that is supposed to be all about states rights the idea that when they need to they are happy to tell the states to go pound salt and they want to stick their nose into things is pathetic.

This has nothing to do with upholding the constitution, that's the courts job and they clearly said, 'nothing to see here, move along', 60 odd times, what this was really about was a mix of utterly reprehensible political grandstanding by ######bags trying to set up a future run and equally reprehensible and also dangerous pushing at the limits of what they could get away with, that maybe the fence would fail and they would end up being able to over turn the election and subvert democracy if enough players were prepared to go along and no one stopped them, every one of them is a traitor in their hearts, every last one of them, they all know that the US is demographically moving away from them and that the GOP as it is at present is doomed, this was their answer, end democracy.

Now that it is starting to sink in I find I'm even more pissed now about these riots than the days following 9/11. It was not some guy half a world away in a desert terrorist camp that masterminded this tragedy but a head of state who somehow buffooned his way into a preventable tragedy that many people saw coming.

Here is a clip from the late show to lighten the mood:

I heard that the DC Mayor had told the government after all the unmarked government men dressed in full battle gear for BLM protests that they should stay away and let the locals handle protests unless they are requested to help support.

Not sure if we can blame her, it was a joke during the brutality during BLM against protesters, but it seems she has a hand in them being underprepared.

Certainly have to question the capital police and the metro police in their soft treatment of protesters, them being seen taking selfies and clearly treating these traitors with kid gloves.

well I'll admit I'm naive enough to think that those idiots were dumb enough to show their faces while committing a crime at a place where you can be sure there's cameras covering every single corner. I was surprised to see police's handling of the protests too, but if you want to prosecute those people, you have more than enough evidence to do it. Heck, many of those geniuses even posted their videos and pictures themselves.

The only hope I see for America is for the craven Republicans to finally reject Trump, expose his lies, and be the ones to tell Trump supporters that he duped them. There will always be forever Turmpers, but I think it would give a lot of people permission to recognize the real truth. They need to be all over their media channels telling the honest truth. Otherwise Trumpers will find someone else to rally behind, and it could get a lot more dangerous for the country. I know it will never happen, and their is no hope, but their is a way out of this.
