That game was just so frustrating.

So many dams burst to inspire hope in the team going forward.

The powerplay cold streak comes to an end.
Brouwer has an amazing, commendable game.
The 4th line scores.
The Flames are able to go ahead by a second goal for once.

All for it to come crashing down due to the goalies being off in wonderland. Really just makes me want to start throwing things.

I have emotion and get excited and disappointed, I can just mentally still process that there are many ways to lose a game and this one wasn't about coaching, it was about goaltending

The goalie didn’t keep them in any of those games (outside maybe Buffalo).

They had played pretty good defensively in those games it was the PP that was horrible.

Tonight and the last two minutes of last game though...just complete meltdowns. Smith let in some softies tonight this isn’t all on him.

The 4th and 6th goals were complete breakdowns by the team - Smith let in those bad goals but the team didn’t help prop him up in the following shifts which is almost a more concerning sign of how weak they are mentally.

The first time having this convo sucks but my girlfriend even installed the nhl app ( do she knows when games are) and we put another xbox/tv in the bedroom so she xan use them when the games on now. Started this last year.
