Why do they crumple so much, is it the players, the coach, the lack of Jagr, the arena situation, the phase of the moon, I don't even know

When the Flames are on their game and playing with confidence, they're very tough to play against. But since the Buffalo game, they really seem to be gripping their sticks, over-thinking everything, and playing like they're scared to lose instead of going hard for the win.
In the games against Buffalo, LA and Edmonton, it was the offence and the PP that were the main culprits. Tonight the PP and offence finally came alive, but the goaltending let them down. They just can't seem to catch a break lately.
I blame that stupid 5 day break, as for some crazy reason they seem to have lost all their confidence since then. So f'n frustrating.
Also, Gulutzan has been making some incredibly idiotic coaching decisions over the last several games, and I'd be more than happy to see him fired at this point. And he can take Cameron with him.
