Why shouldn't we? If Israel wants to sit at the big boys table with the Western nations, it's unacceptable for them to commit more atrocities than any other First World nation.

People aren't going to hold say, Zimbabwae to the same standard as Israel, because they aren't a developed country with billions of dollars in economic support and a firmly entrenched modern infrastructure.

Israel isn't doing everything right but Zimbabwae doesn't have anybody vowing to wipe them#off the map.

Also didn't Zimbabwae use to be the bread basket of Africa until a hair brained rage induced version of affirmative action.

The FBI news conference will be at 5pm Eastern, so that's probably when the photos of the two "persons of interest" will be released. Just FYI for anyone who had been refreshing this thread for updates but doesn't feel like spending the next hour and a half reading about racial profiling, affirmative action and Israel.

This is comical, prior to the sudden avaiability of video cameras and the internet accusations against Israel were hard to deny. Now there is a clear absence of any useful footage. Even the accusers have to rely on doctoring footage nowadays or to do what most people do, hold Israel to a different standard than anyone else.

Why does criticism of Israel's human rights record get tarred as hateful? This seems to be par for the course with you, people can't even insinuate that something about Israel is not completely positive without you flying off the handle.

There are reports FBI is looking for 2 suspects including one wearing a white ball cap, so that does match the above picture. However, the black knapsack with the grey striped strap the man with the blue jacket is holding looks almost identical to the picture of the knapsack used in the bombing as well. Will be very interested in seeing the released pictures later at the press conference.

The picture of the 2 guys (one with a white hat, black backpack, blue duffle bag and blue track jacket) are not persons of interest anymore. They both apparently have been found to have no involvement with the bombings. and one of the guys even posted on his FB page that he was going to the police station to clear things up.

And the 2 guys in black jackets and khaki pants are both security force personnel. They both were seen standing in the road, after the explosion both still wearing their backpacks.

If by affirmative action you mean he hired mobs of men armed with trucks and AK-47 to kill and/or terrify white farmers into leaving the country, and then drove the economy into the dirt via corruption and feeding the black market, resulting in the worst case of hyperinflation in the modern world.

CNN is reporting that the two men the FBI had been trying to identify are "no longer of high interest."

Edit: This may be the same story that arsenal posted, or these may have been two different people. CNN has not yet reported any details, but since the runners were together in the photos and the FBI sources had said that they had photos of two men a block apart, it would seem likely that these are different men.

I would feel guilty if this thread was actually filled with news, but out of the 40 pages, aside from the recent derails, I'm pretty sure the majority has been pointless cyber-sleuthing.

I mean really, if there was news we would be discussing it. As it stands, the only person trying to incite bombing-specific discourse is Mikey, but his topic of conversation is enshrouded in tinfoil, covered in sheep's blood, and locked inside a Faraday cage.
