We were playing NHL 08, I think, and all I could find to drink with was some, like really small, plastic cup.

I think I was making fun of the strippers too, because that's usually what I do when I end up at the peelers.

You are to Vancouver like OilKiller is to Edmonton.

Any idea if the food is good?

We are staying at the Fairmont in Coal Harbor, so could be a cool spot to meet friends for food/drinks

If you're really looking for a quality meal in Coal Harbour, then Cardero's is the way to go. Go to The Mill after for drinks on the patio ... just get there before sunset for great views.

(The food at The Mill isn't bad ... just not as good as Cardero's)

I was expecting that, wasn't really serious. I've passed through Vancouver a few time but never really got to see the city up close. I really don't mind the City. Just want to try something new when we get there.

Depending on age.

Also Depending on existance of the establishment....

When I lived in Van. ( Age: 30's ) "Graceland" was one of THE most exciting places to go!!

Other than that, durring the day, I'd go check out the old fisheries ETC.. In Steveston......and the Beach in White Rock kicks A$$ over the one in Kits!!

I had the pizza at The Mill. It was glorified Delissio pizza. Wasn't very good at all actually. Just go there for drinks and appetizers and enjoy the view.

Depending on when you come, check out the fireworks on English Bay - unless you did last night. If not there's some on Saturday.. but it gets super crowded.

Thanks tips but that might explain why I put "best place"

The Mill is good for appies and drinks. Not much more. If you haven't been down Robson or Granville yet, those are both well worth your time.

I'd head to the beach early tonight if you are going to the fireworks, as it does get crowded.

No competition for the best pizza in Vancouver...Uncle Fatih's on Broadway and Commercial. Always packed and the best slice you'll get
