Despite the rivalry and the random skids and hippies, Vancouver is definitely a great city to visit. There's a lot there I'm jealous of.

Thanks for all the ideas, definately a few of these I'll have to check out between rioting, curb stomping hippies, and letting the Sedin's ponies out of the barn. Just for good measure I think I'll bring bees from the main land across to van island just because they say you can't.

robbob - you never said exactly when you are going...

i recommend a trip just after new years so you can stop by the 'laser pointer pavilion' (or whatever they now call gm place) on january 5th and watch the flames beat the 'nucks!
