Wow, I never saw how that thing ended. Voted a few times at the beginning, knew she made it to the bake off, then completely lost track.
Read it now and am sure glad I did. That was awesome!

The Mike Keenan press-conference where everyone was waiting with bated breath for it to stream online but it kept breaking down was pretty great. And then Keenan gave that great smile and point and shot a lightning bolt out of his finger-tip:
Wish I could find that thread.

Another good one is when Flames Gimp posted a GIF of that luger guy flying off the track and then slamming into the WTC. Obviously it got pulled down real fast, but then FG says something like:
"Yeah, I can see why that was pulled down, it was in pretty poor taste. Oh well you win some, you luge some."
Haha I almost pissed my pants.

It was removed shortly after it was put up. Something about having a video of him online eating pubes for the rest of his life was unappealing, I guess

Bumping the thread for this epic post

3) Gay dudes on their team are so socially inpet that they would choose the post game shower as an appropriate time to come out to their team, and profess their love to you
I'm not afaid of these things for three reasons
1) I have a hard enough time getting women to hit on me, I highly doubt I could put in enough effort to get dudes to do it as well
2) Handsome as I am, I'm pretty sure any gay guy on my Rec League team would probably go for HulkRogan (he's so dreamy), unless of course Hulk is himself gay, in which case he'd definitely hit on me
3) If you were going to profess your love for a girl would your first impulse be to remove your clothes first? I mean I know "The Naked Man" works 2 out of 3 times, but it requires supprise, and I don't think a post game shower would work the same way.

It's no longer available, but the best laugh I've ever gotten on the Internet was back after the canucks acquired Luongo. CBC put up a poll asking who was better, Luongo or Kiprusoff.
Luongo was winning by a ton when Dope-AS-Fack (a guy I sort of know but doesn't post much) puts up a CP jihad and we completely turned it the other way.
CDC was apoplectic and got CBC to reset the poll twice to give Luongo a chance but Kipper still eked it out.
The CDC thread and this one, was the best.

Pierre McGuire and Arlo. The only two people to ever use apoplectic in a sentence.
