If what you are stating was indeed the case, why would the Nazis not have stopped there? They went all the way into Poland, then tried to make their way into Russia.
Do you also think they had a legitimate beef over land to the west of Germany as well?

Obviously they also had a legitimate beef with the Jews as well. I mean the subjugation and eventual attempted extermination were all German Governmental Policies even before WWII started. And those nasty gypsies and gays all owed Germany contended land.
And he had a legitimate beef against Austria, I mean it was pretty much his country of origin and somebody else was living in his house.

Really?. The German people agreed to the treaty after the pain their country caused most of the world in the first war or they wouldn't have had a country....crap happens when you loose a war.
Hitler's the one who snubbed his nose at the Versailles treaty, re-built a massive military (totally against the TOV) and deliberately tried to do it all over again. Chamberlain wanted to saw Hitler off at the knees in 1937 for breaking the treaty and warned what he was up too but the Czechs, the Poles,France and a few others in the Entente were too gutless and afraid to do anything about it claiming another large conflict would cause another economic depression. Hitler took advantage of their weakness, re-built his army and the rest is very bad history.
Now, please go join the Taliban and have fun bullet dodging.

I would say Chamberlain was just as afraid of the Nazis as the Czechs, Poles and French were. England definitely tried the appeasement route with Hitler. They didn't threaten him at all with retaliation, when in hindsight, they should have. In37/38, Britain was definitely more powerful then Nazi Germany. Spies in Germany were saying what Hitler was up to but the British, read Chamberlain didn't believe it. Partly because his Ambassador in Germany was saying the information about hitler was coming from those who opposed Hitler, and therefore, the information couldn't be trusted. He believe Hitler could be appeased.
The opportunity was there to overthrow Hitler in 38/39 before the war started, but the British never backed it until it was too late.

Exactly, My grandfather, great uncles fought in WWII for the Germans. Were they nazi's? NO. They were fighting for the Fatherland and yes bad things happened but just because they were German doesn't mean they are bad folk.
Also the Ruskies and Yanks are just as guilty for not accepting jews that were trying to flee Nazi occupied Europe only to be forced back to the camps.
I have a deep hate for the Russians. It's from the wall and I really don't remember much of the wall and Germany since we moved to the states when I was 5. But I would defiantly arm up to fight the ruskies.

Danzig/Gdansk had been German land for a whopping 47 years until the armistice. When it was a free state it wasn't part of German land (hence free state).

I would fight the Nazi's, I would not however go to the Pacific front. I couldn't take it there, I know I couldn't.

I always wondered about the potential for war on American soil. I think the Germans would have been massively unsuccessful.
The difference I think, is that American citizens (thanks to the 2nd amendment) own a vast amount of guns...
