Are you in the 90% or 10%? Serious question.

That was not a complaint about CP. It was a complaint about the people who are judging her as somebody with a low IQ. I was trying to give a sample size. Just like the original poster when he put a title to this thread. His sample size was Calgary.

I assume that I am in the 90%.

FYI. I don't think I am any smarter/better than anybody.

If you watched her interview with Katie Couric you cannot possibly believe that to be true. 90% of posters on this board probably know more about US foreign policy than her. She could not even site one publication that she reads or has read to get information on world events. She claimed that Alaska's proximity to Russia and the fact that she thought she "could see them, therefore keep an eye on them" as foreign policy experience??

She was a publicity stunt for the republicans in the hopes that they would get the female vote to push McCain over. McCain had zero chance up against Obama without some sort of trump card running mate. Unfortunately, for once, the media pretty much universally agreed, and exposed her as a complete twit. And obviously a large segment of the female population in the US agreed as well.

And this is not hate on to women. I would have had no issue with Clinton winning the election, as I thought she would have made an excellent President. I would say that Hillary Clinton likely has a higher IQ than 90 percent of this board.... but Palin?, your numbers are likely backwards.

The fact she may run for president is scary. But I am sure it is welcomed by the Democrats.

Kennedy had, "Ask not what your country can do for you...."

Obama had, "There is not a liberal America and a conservative America -- there is the United States of America. There is not a black America and a white America and Latino America and Asian America -- there's the United States of America."

Even Reagan, who many thought was not so bright had: "A people free to choose will always choose peace."

Palin......"You Betcha!"

Nope, but I think I've proven that a degree can even be earned by people who apparently don't grasp percentile groups, and I have multiple degrees.

Not true.

The selection actually got a very good response. What won the presidency for Obama was the media having a field day with Palin and her stupidity.

I predicted almost 6 months before the pick that it would be Palin.

She was the 'sexy' answer to the 'hope and change' BS Obama was spouting.

The operative word is 'smart'. If the GOP is stupid enough to nominate Palin, it will guarantee Obama will have another term.
If the Republicans win Congress and keep it in 2012 I hope Obama gets re-elected.

A Republican legislative and executive branch is just as bad as a Democratic one.

Until then, confrontational statements labeling people as numbskulls should stay out of your repertoire.

Please don't insult two of the greatest leaders the US has had by including Obama in there.

Well. I was making a positive comment about her IQ.

But then you were thinking I was making a confrontational statement about 90% of the group.

Interesting. What is that called? What label do put to that? I mean you immediate assumption that I was being confrontational.

I know some real dumb asses that got degrees from the University of Idaho. That said, I think she is of average intelligence, but she clearly knows nothing and likes it that way. A person of average intelligence needs to work hard on their education and intellectual skills, but she thinks she's the **** and hasn't done anything to expand her intelligence. Thus, she's an idiot.

I wasn't *thinking* that, that is what you were doing. Saying something like "I'll bet she's smarter than 90% of the population" would be non-confrontational; making the statement specifically about people ON THIS BOARD is pretty clearly setting yourself up as some kind of superior judge of intelligence.
