Thanks again for the great tips everybody! I only made it to the game with 10 minutes to spare unfortunately as our bus was delayed because some drunken fools got stuck in the elevator at the hotel.

It was definitely good to know about the closer bathrooms/concessions. The line-ups were still pretty long but at least I didn't have to make the trek all the way down.

Oh my goodness, people getting up during play is so annoying!!! Also, the three guys ahead of me were leaning forward really bad. So my friend and I asked them to lean back as we couldn't. They just told us to lean forward. Later on in the period, we were leaning forward and STILL couldn't see and politely asked them again. They claimed they were trying to see around people as well; yet, all of the people in front of them were NOT leaning forward. Frustrating!

A little disappointing that my only game I'll get to see this season was a shut-out, but I got to see my favourite team in person and it was overall great!!

I also bought an Iginla jersey while I was in Calgary!

I was told by a family friend, who is a higher-up in the organization, to stay far away from the malts. Mice tend to nest near the machines and the malts have an allowable amount of mice feces in them. They test the malts regularly for this.

Take it for what it's worth. I had a hard time believing him, but he swears by it.

Your friend lies. There is nothing to test... 1 single mouse dropping could cause multiple people to get infected with hantavirus.

at the LRT station, when the pony-tail Denver Bronco dude yells out "Does anyone have any tickets" - make sure to yell back to him "Yes I do!" and then walk past him and laugh.

I had no idea this was available to people outside of the club seats. I freeze my butt off wearing only my jersey as I walk to the Dome from the parking lot and back since I hate worring about my coat at the game. Thanks for the tip.

Having kids with you makes it pretty easy. I have never been denied.

When we went to the Shark Tank in December they actually had an announcement telling people not to lean forward as it impedes the view of the people behind you. Perhaps I should ask Ken King if they could do this at the Dome? I have had many games ruined by a 'leaner'.

DO Stand up and cheer when the Flames score a goal
DO NOT Sit in your seat like a disinterested loser when the Flames score a goal

Do not stand and watch the game on the stairs in front of seated fans. Usually does not end well.

very good idea, I am going to pass the same message along.

I have constant leaner problems, and it's always by these 3 gingers that are 6'3 each i call the giraffe twins (twins and brother 1 year older that is identical). They have an aisle section with no one in site, yet the NEED to lean forward and be reminded nightly to sit back.

It would be nice to 'ask' people to be mindful of the lean, at the same time as asking to be a fun fan and all those other messages.
