lol...no, Martin is just that good. He gave up more than 2 points in an end very very few times this week.

Really? That's interesting. Any links for further reading?
So did Howard get a 6 out of 4 for his amazing shot against Saskatchewan?

I just did this manually, so there may be a small error, but here is a summary of how much Martin dominated the Brier. In his 13 games:
-He limited his opponents to only 8 ends where they scored more than 1 point (and never more than 2).
-His games only lasted an average of 8.2 ends before his opponents shook hands.
-He was only stolen on 4 times, all for just 1 point
-He outscored his opponents 104-48

I haven't seen a scorecard, but most likely.

The way Martin can defend a lead, most would agree with you.

I have a question for those that have gone to curling events...when someone throws some serious heat, and either flies through or knocks other rocks out of the house, are guys always there to stop the rock from hitting the hack? Because you never see it on TV, but there is a lot of velocity on those rocks and I don't always see how they end up.

Ya, the other skip often grabs anything flying down, but not always. The key is really to make sure the rocks don't hit the hack...that does some serious damage. Rocks can launch off them, rip hacks right out of the ice, or just bounce around and damage the ice. It's ok if they hit the boards though. That doesn't do much damage. One actually got stuck up on top of the foam boards during the finals last night.

What are they stopping the real fast ones with? Their brooms or their feet? Sorry for the stupid question, I am just curious.

Both. You kind of absorb the shock and cushion the fast ones in. Like you're catching an egg tossed at you.
Someone told me that Martin tossed one during the week that no one stopped and it popped off the foam at the end and landed outside the playing surface.
