If you get into a shoot out, with Detroit, the computer Evgeni Malkin has consistently been able to get Osgood to do that during the shoot out. Osgood will make the initial save, but his stick will drag it into the goal.

Hmm.. Apparently it's been updated so that no longer happens.

so question for you PS3 users that have the demo. Since its not out on xbox i cant answer this. You can play the be a pro mode in the demo? can you only be one player though? or can you pick like goalie or somehing?

note: i just bought a ps3 and tried out the demo. if you guys are tight on space i will happily be left out. but if you guys have plenty of roster space, i would enjoy joining the team and perhaps in a couple months i will be up to par with the controls. i played on pc in the past with classic controls so i am going to have to get used to all the use of the joysticks!

so like i said, i would love to be on the team if you don't mind having a glorified waterboy for a while! i also don't know anyone with a ps3 and would love to makes lots of new canadian friends! ;-)

yeah i wasnt sure about slots. i thought the xbox team was getting big so i wasn't too sure.

I am sick and tired of hearing "Oh wo wee oh we are the warriors of time"! Man, it's a downer that the PS3 version does not have custom soundtracks if the rest of the music is like that!

On the upside though, I do like the accoustic guitar during the tutorial. That's unique in a good way!

^^ hilarious. I agree so much. The first time I heard the acoustic kick in I thought "that there is some sweet acoustic" and then about 20 minutes later thought "well ... i guess that's the only bloody song in the demo then."

I just tried out the demo, and I think I liked it well enough to give it a shot this time around. I'm willing to entertain the idea of putting in goalie position if it turns out that I'm halfway decent at it; but that will have to wait until I actually give it a shot. Does anyone have any info on how it played in previous games? This would be my first NHL game.

Ditto on the music. I got excited when I saw another song name pass by and...nope, same song.

I just kind of assumed it would be the Calgary Puckers. I'm open to other more blasphemous names though.

I thought it would be kind of neat if they found some way to take the ladder rankings and do a Stanley Cup style face off between 360 teams and PS3 teams, as if they were just two conferences.

Calgary Puckers is good with me too, just curious if anyone had any other ideas.

Any ideas how detailed the team making thing is?

Alright fellas, I'm at work right now but should be updating our "roster" tonight. Good to see all the interest and I'm excited to get some games going with the squad.
As for a team name, I'm not sure if we're supposed to include a locale, or if they're just looking for a nickname (i.e. Flames or Oilers).
I'm certainly open to suggestions.

It would be good if there was a locale so we can use CalgaryPuck as our "city" of origin.

CalgaryPuck Fatas has a nice ring to it.

I also like anything that has to do with alcohol.

Simple could be best...I like just being Team Calgarypuck. I don't think being known as the Fatas sounds that good lol!

Also, if we start picking #s, then I call #27!

And lastly, could I design the jersey? I'd be sure to take everyone's input/suggestions into my design. I think we should go for something other than the stock NHL jerseys.

On ano unrelated note- I bought Burnout Paradise at London Drugs for $30 and I am really enjoying it!
