I could probably play on the D team and fit in skill wise, too. I think the deciding factor for me though would be which team plays in northern Calgary.

Same here, I would join a north team in a heart beat, I can play forward or defense. I only do 20 second shifts (and rest for 2 minutes) at this time..

Okay, this will be the official roster post as the editing is not working on my first post, it will be updated regularly. Keep in mind, nobody has paid yet, so if it looks like all the spots are taken and your interested, still let me know, as people may drop out later on down the road. The players on this post are all from Calgarypuck, while there is still another 5 or 6 players that have expressed interest from the current team.

BTW It looks like the issue of whether we're north or south may be a bigger factor than I thought. Personally I live in the south, but we usually end up carpooling, so location isn't the biggest deal to me, however, like I said before, ideally we can get something central.

1. Would it be alright to call the team 'Calgarypuck'?

2. Would it be alright to have a thread on Calgarypuck where all the photoshop pros can design their best Calgarypuck logo for the jersey's, or would that be copyright infringment?

Okay, it seems the 89 style Flames jerseys are no longer a "stock" jersey, meaning we'd have to pay more to have them custom ordered. She said it would be about $10 more per jersey, s $20 more per guy.

Also, ishe informed me that they just started offering the new Flames jersey as an option. It isn't the reebok edge material, but it's the same style jersey.

She's emailing me the official pricing, but it will be roughly $45 per jersey, plus $3.75 per digit on the back. The logo cost is completely varied depending on what we design. So without the logo, we're looking at $105 per player (a little less if you only have one digit), and the she said a lot of logos end up being around $20 per jersey. So in the end we could end up paying upwards of $150 per player for two jerseys, and then socks are another $25 on top of that. This may seem like overkill to some people, and I definitly won't do it if it's going to scare people away from playing. But I'm just posting this so people know what the options are, and so I can get some feedback.

I would be in to play as well for the 'D' div. Was in the wrahl last year and it was not run well at all so I am looking to switch leagues. So if you need another forward send me a pm and I will play.

It might be a little pricey, but the idea of having custom jerseys and lettering seems pretty cool, I am really excited for this.

Oh, and by the way, you have me pegged down as a forward on your roster there, when I'd probably be better suited on defense. (I'd play forward if need be though)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you were reading it wrong. It's a little over $600 for the full winter season. It's the deposit that is $250ish, which is due in early July, while the remainder is due sometime in August. Plus, if we decide to go with these Calgarypuck jerseys, then that will add more to the cost.
