It was $178.30. I think it included a response fee and some travel fee. Our insurance company ended up covering the bill. Eventually.

I did this once, sans ambulance. It was easily the drunkest I've ever been. Most of the conversations at work the next day went like this:
Co-worker: "hey I remember seeing you at the christmas party."
Me: "I am sorry I don't recall seeing you there."
Co-worker: "that's not a surprise."
My date was pissed at me, some old women put the moves on me and I was so ill I was defenseless, I wandered into the hotel kitchen looking for the bathroom, I vomited, A LOT, the day of and the next day. I'm never doing that again...probably.

It makes a great story for the rest of us. He's just taking one for the collective team.

Wow, even I know not to get to the silly-sloppy drunk level at a work function. I did however assist in throwing our Director into his hotel room-shower fully clothed when he passed out one year.

Yup, you'll be getting a bill from EMS. I passed out in church a few years ago and someone stupidly called EMS (I refused transport) and sure enough, I get a bill a few weeks later. My insurance would NOT cover it since I wasn't transported anywhere. So it would have been worthwhile to actually go to the hospital, waste everyone's time and tax dollars in the emergency room, to have insurance pay for it rather than saying "you know, I'm okay, I'll save you guys some time and money and not go to the hospital".

The only thing worse than company parties are all day company golf tournaments
First beer cracked 7am
Already drunk when you tee off
Can barely walk by the end of 18
Pass out on the toilet at dinner
Sleep on the bus ride home wake up covered in beer
Get off the bus still can’t stand or let alone have the ability to speak
In bed by 9pm
Oh did I mention all under the supervision of my dad who is the vice-president of our branch…

I've always thought that the timing of Church was poor.
I mean Sunday morning? You gotta know what people are up to on Saturday night....

Yep I remember this. I called you at like 2 to see if you had plans for the night, all I could make out was 'golf, dad, drunk', hah you were obliterated! Needless to say you certainly didn't make it to the night, to come out with us.

I just had a credit report done on me, and found out that I owe $160 or something for an ambulance ride from 2 years ago caused by a day/night full of partying. aww what sweet times those were!
