It's way too ealry to make such a claim.
Being PM for a few months in a minorty government makes him a footnote in Canadian history. Making this claim would be the same as someone else saying he is the worst PM in the past 50 years. Totally unfair.
He's a likable enough guy and is handling the job well, but best PM in 50 years? I don't think so, but you're entitled to your opinion.

I rode shotgun next to Johnny Drive on an epic road trip through the barren Alberta wastelands. Oiler fans were afraid of snow.

Met Sandy McCarthy, Ron Stern and Paul Kruse at Bermuda Shorts Day at U of C in 94', Sandy is a super nice guy, didn't really talk to the others. I played minor hockey with Cameron Vernon (Mike's nephew) and was coached by his brother Dan and have conversed with Mike numerous times, great guy. The ultimate for me was eating chicken wings and drinking Pepsi with Def Leppard backstage prior to their 1988 Hysteria concert at the Saddledome, my friends sister worked for AM 106 and set us up (I was 14 at the time).

I believe it, I met him once, seems so full of himself, I'm surprised he didn't run into everyone!

I drank at BP's with Chris Jericho and played pool with him. Then proceeded to jam with his band Fozzie Osbourne. I gave him the idea the leave WCW and go to the WWF.
I was introduced to Edge and Christian while working at Moxie's. I cooked their steak for them.
I hung out with Coolio and smoked with him, in Las Vegas.
Dustin Nguyen is a distant cousin. (21 Jumpstreet haha)
Went to a NYE party in NYC and Christina Aguilera and Maroon 5 were there.
Sold Stephen Harper some phone extension lines at Future Shop for his campaign office 4 or 5 years ago. He told me one day he'd be Prime Minister. I thought he was joking.
Hung out with Ference and rode shotgun in his truck. Took his pictures.

Darren Jones and Mr. Mo came into my Radioshack once to buy a loudspeaker. I didn't even notice them for like 10 minutes. A buddy of mine was helping them. It was 10am and boy were their eyes red
Working in a hotel now, there's been a few that have passed by already. But discretion is the name of the game here. Though I must say, hockey players do keep the company of some beautiful women.

Don't feel bad though, it's what fascists do best - brainwash society.

Oh come on, is that why you gave him the bird, because he's a facist?
Harper has done a fine job so far, what more do you expect, considering he has a minority government?

I saw David Hasselhoff, aka the Hoff at Loose Moose Theatre.
I saw Ashton Kusher at wholesale sports. The guy was such an ugly skinny lookin punk in person.
I chatted with Steve Begin while we were both walking our dogs. I've seen a bunch of other Flames but he's the only one I've talked to.
Angela Kokott in Gord's Running store, now I'm really reaching ha.

Met Kristin Kruek at a club in Vancouver a few years ago. A bunch of us chatted her and her friends up and we all ended up going out for food when we left.
Saw Vin Diesel at Boys Co. in Vancouver a few summers back.
Saw Tom Cruise at a Bread Garden on Robson in Vancouver a few years ago.
Partied with Snoop Dogg and his crew at the Big Bamboo night club in Vancouver waaaay back when he was in town doing the Up in Smoke tour (I think it was called?).
Met Pat Burns in the lobby of the Marlborough Inn in Calgary during the '89 playoffs after a Flames victory. My dad convinced me to introduce myself to him so I did, but his smile quickly turned to a frown when I said "Go Flames Go!"

Saw Clarke Wilm at the Stampede last Saturday. He was walking up the stairs to the C-Train with this little 18 yr. old tart. What makes it memorable is that he was really rubbing her arse, sliding his finger in the crack and all. All this about a ft. in front of my wifes face. I remember scrapping Cam Vernon in a game back in 91 or 92.

You're thinking of Boyz Town. You know, that bar where you blacked out after drinking that drink and you woke up feeling like you just pooped a firetruck?
