I would rather...

see the Leafs, Canucks and Oilers win the Stanley Cup consecutively...
have Dion Phaneuf traded for a future consideration...
have fotze and Lanny tutor my kids on etiquitte...
and eat a grenade

...than have Stockwell lead us through the 14th...errrrr...21st century

I dont disagree that its time for a change, in fact i know Ralph feels the same way.

It really doesnt matter who takes over the PC party...they will be the next premier.

That has NOTHING to do with the current leadership review however.

Its unfortunate Stock took the bait of Federal Politics cause he would have been the shoe in long ago, personally I think Ralph has waited this long cause he doesnt have a successor he thinks is compitent (spelling).

No this thread had strayed far and wide from the original topic of the way that the leadership review is being handled.

My feeling is that absolute power corrupts absolutely and while I am not directly saying that Klein is corrupt, I feel that Alberta's democratic system is constipated right now and is closer to a monarchy or one-party state.

But I don't represent the majority of Alberta (and that is fine...live and let live).

If Klein feels it is time for a change why do you think that he is moving so slowly (I heard on the radio this morning that he has changed his mind and will retire in 2008 now...anyone else hear this?).
