#9 Michigan defeats #7 Providence by a score of 5-1. Mews was originally credited with an assist, but it looks like it's been taken away. 3gp/0g/4a/4pts,+4, 4 PIM, tied for 2nd in scoring by D.
#10 North Dakota beats #19 St.Thomas by a score of 6-2. Littler picks up 1g, 1a, and was +3 in his season debut. Cole Reschny was all zeroes, other than 3 shots.
#6 Maine beats Holy Cross, 5-2, with Lipinski getting 1g, 1a, and a +2 in his season debut on the winning side. He also won 8/10 faceoffs, while Justin Poirier had a hat-trick.
#8 Quinnipiac is defeated 2-1 by Alaska-Fairbanks, with Wyttenbach getting the lone goal for the losing side. 2gp/1g/1a/2pts,+1, 0 PIM.
#15 Arizona State downs Notre Dame, 5-3, but no points (+2) for Potter. 3gp/0g/2a/2pts,-1, 2 PIM.
Merrimack beats #14 UMass-Lowell by a score of 4-1, with Hoskin picking up a goal (+1) for 2gp/1g/0a/1pt,even, 0 PIM.
#4 Penn State defeats Clarkson, 5-2, but it was all zeroes for Misa. 4 games, no points, and a -2.

So, Mews actually had two assists taken away. He was initially credited with an assist on Hage's first goal as well. The video was pretty clear that it wasn't.
I've never seen his junior games, so this is my first viewings. I see why Flames should be excited about him. Regardless of points, Mews was very impactful on this game. There were scouting reports from his draft year that he should be more offensive but is hesitant to activate. I didn't see that at all. I saw a mobile offensive defenseman who moves the puck well, is frequently up in the play, often in the circles or between the hash marks in the O-zone. The Wolverines PP runs through him. The Wolverines had Seamus Casey 2 years ago, and Luke Hughes the year before that, but didn't have anyone like that last year, and it showed. That won't be a problem this season.
