Great weekend for the Wranglers. Half way through the game on Saturday, they found the way that they have to play and were rewarded. Gridin has made a noticeable difference and looked great with Kerins and Hunt. Say has been outstanding in his two games. Felt really good for Basha after being a healthy scratch for a couple of games. Sutter is definitely easing the rookies into it with fairly limited ice time.

Looking forward to the home opener on Friday!

He's only 20, my guess is they are easing him in slowly.

They did the same to Bru when he first entered the league.

despite the loss, some beautiful high skill plays on the goals

Basha's assist was great
Stromgren's outlet, then Gridin's one touch pass to Kerins was more skill than any Flame has shown this season
Stromgren had another beautiful assist on Gridin's goal

Flip side, Cicek looked like an Oiler defender. Two horrendous giveaways on the first two goals
