Yes, he can.

Suniev cannot.

Then next season Parekh has to play NHL while Suniev will be AHL-bound.

I pointed this out in the game thread, if you watch the full replay of Parekh's goal, he should have been credited with both the goal and the second assist because he was at the point and passed it to Backlund, then went to the net and tipped in Backlund's shot.

It's too bad they don't do that because it would be incredible to get your first NHL assist on your first NHL goal.

He was running around a lot early; I thought he looked pretty lost out there. As he got not comfortable, I thought he looked better. He definitely needs some seasoning in the AHL, but there's definitely potential.

That's... wow. I can't help but feel like we've been robbed of a post-season here.

5 points back of the Cup Locks, as well. Or should I say, 5 skills competition victories.

So..
Kadri’s 2 give him 35 for the first time
Backs ties Lanny
Morton’s first
Parekh’s first

Even Ward’s first

Every goal mattered. Pretty cool

It’ll be interesting in training camp and the offseason. Parekh and Brzustewicz both look like nhl d men and Poirier was close in the past.

Miro and Bean are on borrowed time for sure. Trading Ras could open a spot, but who knows if a defenseman would come back as part of such a deal and/or they intend to go to the UFA well.

Zayne Parekh hat trick - goal, unawarded second assist, and unawarded clean hit on his own teammate all on the same play

Do the Wildcard races this year with Columbus and Calgary getting spurned and the league now having 32 teams indicate that we need a play-in week implemented?

Cause wow, two teams were seriously short-changed this year.

Columbus rattled off 6 straight to close the season.

Throw in Solovyov and Kuznetsov.

Don’t think Anderson will be back. Would be cool to trade him for a second line center.

Well now, CBJ finished with 89 points. Their situation is quite a bit different from ours.

7-1-2 last 10 and 4 game W streak.

15 overall when 16 make playoffs.

Just dumb.

Between Kadri, Zary, and Frost, this team has all the second-line centres it can use. I'd be more interested in a pick or prospect that could top out as a first-line centre.

I agree with you that Andersson will probably be traded, though it might not happen until he has a chance to show that he's recovered from the injuries that cramped his style so badly this year.
