So who are the centers for the Nucks now?

Pettersson
Suter
Blueger
Joshua

Is that correct, VAN fans?

“Chytil has dealt with plenty of injuries — including multiple concussions — during his career. Those injuries limited him to just 10 games last season but this year in 32 games he has 17 points.”

Is January 31 "Make a Bad Trade Day" in Vancouver?

His name is pronounced with a hard "C", so mankini.

I guess the Canucks are looking for "addition by subtraction"?

Kuzmenko wasn't damaging the rest of the team by eating popcorn, and he was going to go away at the end of the season anyway. Not really comparable.

They got a center and a 1st which is probably what they were looking for.

Miller is also 32, not a very good defensive player, but can score and hit in the right situation. Plus with his NMC he controlled where he went and that always makes it tough.

In the end I wish Vancouver let it drag out longer, but they are still a worse team
Today than they were yesterday so that's good.

We got a much better haul for Kuzmenko and Pelletier. Chytil is one concussion away from early retirement.

Celebrating a bad trade on its 1 year anniversary (Lindholm) by making a bad trade to get rid of JT Miller. Vancouver is not any good at the trades.

I had a feeling when Vancouver signed that Miller extension they would come to regret it. Miller's performance since that signing has been better than I expected; but the locker room issues created were a net negative on the team.

Pettersson has no more excuses and now has to live up to his $11.6million contract. I don't believe he will, because I don't believe his terrible performance this season was solely due to Miller. Good players will still find a way to get points even when their teams are bottom-dwellers. Well, the team has now declared you the winner of this spat by getting rid of Miller and sided with you.

I think Quinn Hughes has failed as captain of the team. Team captains need to lead not only on the ice, but also off the ice.

There will be a lot of pressure on Pettersson now. Let's see how he does with it.
