That's such a strange signing. Do the Oilers need more defenders that struggle defending? We could've just sent them Barrie for FC.
That said, hopefully Klingberg actually revamps his game, but on a new team next season.

I’m not sure how Klingberg having a contract proves that it’s watered down when people were throwing money at him not that long ago.
We’ve had 2 expansion teams in what, 25 years? Aren’t there more people playing hockey than ever?

Doesn't really matter what contract was offered prior to being injured and being out of hockey for this amount of time.
If you think the quality of the NHL is better than ever that's your opinion. A lot of people feel differently, including myself.

With dual hip surgery I guess he will get checked butt first or face first into the boards.
Leafs fans probably laughing at this. I think they didn’t want him.
One question though…what’s his rap sheet like?
One thing is certain; he’s not winning the vlasic defensive defenseman award.
