I don't understand why fans are unhappy about Andersson on PP1. This team doesn't have a defenseman with a bomb so Andersson is by far the best defenseman the team has on the powerplay. The failings of the powerplay aren't on the lone defenseman on the ice as it's the forwards who aren't finishing that are letting the team down.

While its not all his fault, his skating, angles and passing are pretty poor on the powerplay.

I believe they have a bottom 3 team shooting percentage as well. Doesn't help.

And there was a frog, he was not a big frog nor was he a snappy dresser but he was ambitious.
And the frog did enjoy hockey, especially the team that represented fire and very large C's
And though the frog enjoyed the fiery C team he did not enjoy their vast ambition for suckage.
And so the frog prayed to the high lord Kermit to intervene and change the ambitions of the fiery C's.
And the Lord Kermit heard the little frogs prayers and he deemed it so.
And after that the team came out with fire and fury and skill.
And the evil Lord Bettman was not pleased and he sent his striped minions to try and douse the fiery C's but they would have none of it.
And in the end the fiery C's claimed the giant chalice with ancient runes inscribed on it and the little frog was happy.
Thus it is written, thus shall it be.

Glad to see Weegar on PP1 over Hanifin.

Shocked Sharangovich isn't on PP2 instead of Hunt..

The outdoor game will be extremely interesting if both the Flames and the Oilers lose.

Both teams will be getting booed.

Duehr on net front PP2 would be ideal for me; he has a good shot, size, is a righty, almost makes too much sense lol. From more established roster players I’m actually shocked Coleman hasn’t been utilized on the PP and could also take on net front duties.

he has more size and strength and seems more willing...we will see if the Flames actually get some PPs tonight.
Not saying it will for sure work but that is why he is there

Guy has decent hands...PPG with the Wranglers

I'm not arguing with opinions...Duer could do a fine job there too. I don't think Hunt there is outlandish though.

Hunt had a better points per game with the Wrangers last season than Duer, lets not pigeonhole him as a bum.

Please. Just score some goals and keep the total defensive breakdowns to a minimum. And by some, I mean more than 2.

Usually thats not a plus for the Flames who make backups look like starters. Exceptional starters at that.
