Dunno if Looch gets a contract...love the guy's "team" orientation...would love to have him in the backroom. Can't realistically see either happening but there's some team that could be happy to have him at $1M.

Two of the best couple pics of the last few years. What a game this was..the Tkachuk last second goal and OT win, as Rittich came in late and made zero saves and let in 3 goals.

I remember in the first round of 2022 when Benn was getting in Tkachuk’s face and the Flames started the next game with Lucic taking the face off with Benn and Looch chased him around all shift and Benn didn’t go after Tkachuk again. Deterrent right there.

Yeah....it really could have as evidenced by 13 other teams being worse.
Lucic is not the answer to ANY teams scoring issues.

Although Lucic put in an effort most night, I truly think he was misused on the Flames. He didn't have speed or quickness needed to succeed but he wasn't planted in front of the opposing teams net to get scrappy goals. I'm sure his big body and ability to hold position would have helped a lot but fn flames misusing guys seems par for the course. He really does have limited use, but I'm sure some team will do just that for the occasional game here and there.

The reason Looch didn't fight much was because he had no dance partners, not because he wasn't willing. Why would anyone who's not a true heavyweight fight Lucic? So he can get his ass beat and hurt the morale of his team? If you were to ask anyone in that dressing room, they would tell you that they play much, much bigger with him in the lineup. I don't care what anybody says, he'll be missed- moreso by the players in the room.

I attended this Game with some friends. Fantastic. We had an Oiler fan friend with us and we attended the Oilers Bluejackets game a few nights before in Columbus. Oilers lost. Bluejackets fans have no problem getting on an Oiler fan.

Arizona might make sense. Dry and warm desert air might get a bit more mileage out of that big body.
Arizona just bought out their tough guy and I'd imagine Lucic will fit their budget.
