Scoring Winger

Ah what a shame Flames had to spoil a perfect night so far by the home teams as they had won the first seven contests of the night.
Winning on the road is hard in the NHL so good on the Flames for not giving up in the third when Sharks tied it up.

well yeah. I don't think this happens against 28 or 29 teams in the league.
but I'm still happy for him

I think the quality of the shots needs to be factored in here

The team may have their faults, and they may even suck at times.

Just focussing on the positives tonight. This team needed 4 points from San Jose and got them. And the offense has come back to life! Marky was great too.

Markstrom super solid. Gave the team and offense confidence by making key saves at big times.
Make Greg Millen full time analyst. Him and Ball are great and always have been.
He did color for Sens for a while so his criticism of Karlsson is not out of the blue.

Or have you been in a coma for 8 months?
I mean, I’m happy he’s played well for a whopping two games in a row but maybe it’s too early to start acting like a know it all. Especially if you didn’t say Jack #### to defend him until now.
|
LOL. Okay flip. Nothing in my post was implying I knew it all. Just pointing out that it's been endless posts about how Looch is worse than an AHLer and how he shouldn't even be playing, so being "so happy for him" is a bit phony to me. I've always been a Looch fan by the way, you can check the receipts.

Hockey caan be a very strange game.
To me that was Markstroms best game of the year. He made HUGE saves twice where the Flames then went back and scored.
|
I disagree, I don't think Lucic looked all that bad out there. He didn't look especially slow, there was one play where he beat the d-man wide while protecting the puck. I guess now you have Lucic driving the net hard giving Huberdeau an additional option to pass to.

Hockey gods on our side tonight. Markstrom’s 2 on 1 pad save leads to the Kadri goal at the 10 minute mark of the third.
And another defensive lapse by us turned into another Flames goal.
That doesn’t happen very often.

Had a 7 game losing streak and we're still tied with the Oilers where McWhine is putting up 1.94 PPG
