Don't understand the Lucic thing. That line didn't look all that good, Lucic took a bad penalty. And somehow That line racked up points.
Hockey caan be a very strange game.
To me that was Markstroms best game of the year. He made HUGE saves twice where the Flames then went back and scored.

Tonight’s broadcast showed a graphic showing they tanev and Weegar we tied for second in the league for some stat (I think it was goals agains per 60 min). Maybe he’s been better than I thought. Are there any advanced stat gurus that have evidence that Weegar is getting better?

Flames regulation win made me some nice coin tonight.
Good for Markstrom after a iffy 3rd. Shut it down.
Dube was the best player on that top line tonight.
Kadri, Hubs and Lucic picked it up finally late.
I thought that was Colemans best game I've seen in a long long time, maybe all season.
Defence was bad IMO. I didn't think anybody had a good game. Way to loose with the puck, slow, giving up grade As. Weegar was especially bad.

Lol ya because his last 50 games where he was terrible night in and night out, while playing waaaaay more minutes than he should have is all forgotten because he had two good games in a row.

From what I saw he actually made like 8-9 unreal saves lol. Maybe people’s expectations are wildly out of whack. The Flames in their own end look like pylons or maybe even worse, because pylons might be in the way not just allowing cross ice one timers ad nausem. How many 2-1’s were there tonight, like 6? The Flames defensive effort (and I’m including forwards in this) made the Sharks look like the globetrotters. Zadorov and Stone were a straight up nightmare tonight, Hanifin, not good. Huberdeau, turnover central. But it’s all Markstrom’s fault.
Meanwhile Reimer looked like he was the university kid called in on an emergency basis.
