It's funny, some team is going to pay him for helping Colorado win the cup.
I'm just really worried that team will be the Flames.

Don’t you worry we’re paying Ben Chiarot… on a second thought you can start worrying!

My guess is Malkin walks and Pittsburgh backs up the Brinks truck. Burke loves him.

I'm a fan of Kadri, and I would be delighted if we got him for 3-4 years, but only if Gaudreau stays. He would fit in really well, and I think we could use another offensive C. He's mean and physical, and can play a two-way game. Of course, nothing will happen unless Tre can do something with Looch and Mony. I kinda think that Copp would be a fit too, and he won't cost as much.

Kadri went through the steps to invoke a clause and refuse to come here via trade a few years back, why would he willingly choose to come here now?
Unless the overpay is massive.

He explained that he didn't have anything against Calgary, he just didn't want to leave TO.

He had teams down who needed centres because he didn’t want to leave Toronto.

Only way Kadri is coming to Calgary is if they offer the most money, which would be a huge mistake. Really hope they don't make a desperation move like that if they lose Johnny, Tkachuk, or both.

I would love kadri on the flames. Unfortunately it’s time for him to cash in on his great season. Gotta stay away.

Would’ve loved Kadri at 4.5m, not double that.

Even 7 mill for Kadri is too much IMO

I guess it depends on term. I would do 2-3 years at 7 mill. But not anything longer.
For older players, term is the killer. Moreso than cap hit.

I'd take Kane over Kadri any day as it stands right now. I never liked either of those players before and I certainly don't like Kadri any time soon, maybe after he retires.

Kane is such a disgusting unlikeable piece of ####. I wish he'd just go away.
Hopefully he signs out east and we hardly ever have to hear about him anymore.

Flames sign Kane, we riot. But seriously if they sign him I'm done. And I hope I wouldn't be alone.

If you’re a Flames fan the best case scenario is Kane sign a nice long term, expensive deal in Edmonton

Disagree
The piece of garbage came to the oilers and scored at a 40 goal pace right through the regular season and playoffs. That team was circling the drain up to that point
That's not a good thing if you're a Flames fan

Kane has a long history of excellent returns early that quickly fade to become even more problematic as his toxicity grows. I am confident that he will derail that team soon enough.
