I have a GIGANTIC noggin, so I've found the Fanatics hats to be great from a fit perspective. Their L/XL is a *true* XL fit, which is a nice change. Because of my huge head, flat brims and snap backs aren't really options for me, so I can't really comment on those.

I've definitely been more into the non-logo hats lately; ones that just have CGY or Flames wordmarks.

Yup, not a Flames hat. Here’s the red (retro) version: https://wearecdn.ca/collections/hock...retro-snapback

Not sure where to post this, so sorry if this is wrong thread. I am coming up to Calgary (from Arizona) the first week of November to catch three games and celebrate my mom's 90th birthday. I need to get a Flames Jersey ... where is the best place to get one? At the store in Saddledome, or is there an offsite location or store that is cheaper and better to get a jersey. Looking forward to being in the dome and want to make sure I get some "Swag" while I am up there as I haven't been there in over 7 years. Your suggestions are appreciated!

For new jerseys, I don't believe there is a "discount" place you can go to; in the past some older jerseys (i.e. Heritage Classic) have shown up in a place like Winners or Marshalls, but I wouldn't count on it.

Otherwise, the CGY Team Store (aka Flames FanAttic -- there are locations at the Saddledome as well as Southcentre Mall and North Hill Mall) will normally have them for the same price as retail stores like Sport Chek and Pro Hockey Life. One tip -- if you order online (https://www.flamesport.com/), there is currently a discount code to get 20% off (SX924TQNSZHX). Just select "pickup at store" and you can come pick it up when you get here.

Alternatively, if you go to a game early you can get 10% off (along with deals on food/beverage):

I finally got to a point the past couple days, I found a hack to clean all my flat brim new eras. omg. I have 3 essentially new flames hats again. I'm so happy. They were getting so gross from years of wear.

if you're looking to clean your hats, try this. use any shampoo (i just used the cheap stuff you get from hotels), an old toothbrush, and a rag. Use cold water only.

Rinse your caps in the sink, just the cap part, not brim. it's fine if the brim gets a bit wet this way. After rinsing, use shampoo on toothbrush, and scrub your hats outside, in and on the band. Rinse and repeat if you want, until you see marked improvement or no more grey water after a rinse.

Brim, use that rag, wet with cold water, get the brim damp. then use the toothbrush/shampoo combo, scrub again, and then use a damp cloth and scrub the shampoo out, rinsing the cloth/rag until it stops letting out shampoo.

Grab a towel, ball it up into a ball, and stuff it into the bottom, shaping to the hat. then let it dry. It's amazing.

Might have to give that a try. Thanks!

I was going to suggest the SVP Sports site I got my new Flames home and away jerseys from, but I just perused through it and sadly it seems pretty picked over at this point. Only jerseys left are the previous era black C ones (and it's away equivalent). And a couple have names of the previous core attached to them...

But if that doesn't bother you, there's still a few at basically steal prices. Jerseys aside, there's some nice thin jackets and other Flames tops on there at a good price.

They did a pretty good job on it; I’m lucky to have an original one:

CGY Team store has the largest selection of New Era 5150 styles/colours that I’ve ever seen.

Grabbed an all red one, cause why not.

Bump! Just in time for summer.

From the CGY Team Store

I feel like I'm always hyping up Mitchell & Ness, but I really dig the direction they're going with these pieces:

And similar story with Levelwear. I've been really excited to see more of their stuff pop up for sale.

^^^ That whole line is *chef's kiss* as far as I'm concerned!

I picked up the Hawaii style shirt with the discount on the equipment sale as well. Love it!

That hat is gross IMO. Flames always struggle in the hat department.

I actually dig the pastel colors on the hat. But I have to agree the Flames hat game is predominantly harsh. It's funny they just threw every logo at it including the flag emblem. I'm very particular in how hats fit and that style never works out.

It also says “all good things don’t have to come to an end” on the side. Hideous lol.

I really want a big flames flag but not easy to get over here. Is there anywhere that you folks recommend for flags?
