Gaudreau can take a seat for all I care, floating around, watching the GWG going in the net. Hope he has some value after these playoffs.

Did anyone serious think sweep? The opposition is going to win a few games in the post-season. All things considered, they nearly pull this one off despite a pretty terrible performance for most of the game and some questionable calls. Is Gio finally showing his age because he looks like a shell of himself? Also top line, do SOMETHING!

Not even mad. Fought an up hill grind all game. Unfortunate mistake at the end. Learn from that and move on. Dallas was pretty fortunate today. More worries about Tkachuk.

I have never seen an NHL player have such a vast decline in such little time as we are seeing with Gio. Do we leave him unprotected given this trajectory?

Guys, don’t blame Gaudreau. He is what he is. Blame yourselves for thinking he’s capable of carrying a team. Anyone paying attention could see he’s a Phil Kessel like player where he can’t carry your team but if he can get the good match ups he can really put your team over the top. Johnny can put up first line points yes, but he’s not a 1st line player. If we’re looking to him to take us to the promise land at this point it’s more on us then him.

Better win Game 3. Game 4 matinee will be next to impossible to win.

Hopefully the attitude in the room isn't that the effort they had tonight was almost enough to win since they came back and tied it. Were lucky to be in the game at all really the way that the vast majority played

Seems like he shoots when he should be passing and vice-versa. Zero confidence right now.

Every long time Flames fan expected them to fold after Tkachuk and the Mangiapane no goal call, ironically they only folded AFTER tying.

Another lesson to review and learn from. Will make them better when they do.

Still, the team has taken massive strides. Way more fight in them than years past. They surprised the hell out of me tonight in the "heart" department. Just need to shore up those shifts after big goals...

Can't ever let your guard up during the playoffs. Big lesson for Mr. Gaudreau.

I enjoyed the come back, but we didn't deserve the win at all.
Would it have been great to steal one? Of course, but knowing that we didn't really play well enough to win, and we still almost took it to OT tells me that Dallas is beatable.

Also, I'm so disappointed in Johnny. Show some compete.
Not even talking about the last play there, just in general. Win some races to the puck, win some battles. Do something

What a frustrating game to watch. No hustle no effort for a majority of the game and then they find a way to tie it up. Then a lazy effort in the last minute and the game is over.

Flames have to show more intensity tomorrow night!

Gaudreau is dragging the entire line down. I'd honestly even try Janko on the top line left wing. Johnny should be out for the powerplay and maybe some 3rd or 4th line duty tomorrow.

Really hope Chucky ok, that would be a huge loss.

How the disallowed goal wasn't allowed is beyond me, it ####ing went off Benn's skate after Mangiapane "kicked" it in. NHL too focused on the "kick" to see that I guess... not sure how they didn't see that as it was clearly visible on two different angles. I think the Flames used their timeout too so they couldn't challenge it.

Two chances to get a puck deep right before the 5th goal. They brought that upon themselves.

If that game is evenly reffed that’s a win. Dallas took two obvious early penalties not called. Flames penalties I had no issue except gio’s interference. The disallowed goal is so blatant the the nhl wants American teams in its vomit inducing.

That said, Dallas was the better team but we still coulda won.
