My guess would be you know full well that makes you look like a complete loon so you are giving yourself a little wiggle room.
I could be wrong though, or perhaps I'm part of the vast conspiracy, where was I when Epstein 'hung' himself? wouldn't you like to know!!!

Because he's not sorry he did it. He's sorry he's losing him job from it.
Call a black man a ######, and you don't even apologize to him directly? That's not a good apologize, or showing immediate remorse.

I'm a bit confused about why people think it's obvious he should be fired for something he did long, long before he was employed by the team. Does that just make no difference as far as you all are concerned?
I don't really care if he's fired as I don't think he's shown himself to be a particularly good coach, but this does seem like an odd standard for firing people.

Not firing him shows a great message to people of colour. I'm sure the NHL loves to have their white coaches saying racist words to players of colour.

There are two types of white people in the world: white people that have that word in their vocabulary, and white people that don't.

Because they don’t want someone like that, who would say something like that, coach their team.

Thanks for the insult. I’ll add you to my ignore list. Congrats. Imagine that, you’re the first. Even PepsiFree didn’t make it yet.

We don't know that. I don't think anyone has confirmed if Peter's has reached out to Aliu or not.
Also the letter it's self is pretty greasy.

I want to see the real letter in my hand.

Eric Francis tweeted this out first. Pretty sure he didn't just make it up. It's real

If it’s a letter to Treliving (and/or the organization generally), I’m not sure why he’d be apologizing to Aliu.
That said, he presumably sent it to Francis to disseminate more broadly. I’m not sure I understand that approach, but it’s better than nothing.

I run a foster home, if I found out one of my relief workers had done this or was in the proud boys or something like it 10 years ago I would can them in a New York minute, I can't have that in my home.

Oh absolutely. That's why he appologized to Treliving, but not to Aliu, Chicago, or the rest of the team.
Like Burke just said on TV, that's probably all to do with legal advice. Apologize without acknowledging who you hurt
