The lineup is a problem. I don't have confidence that the way the team is structured right now is going to change that issue for the rest of the season.

My biggest pet peeve is poorly timed dump and chase. If your forwards have no momentum on the dump in, it’s a automatic turnover. Too often a line change is taking place and instead of waiting 2 seconds, it’s thrown in, retrieved by the other team and back to square 1.
Johny isn’t chasing any pucks and rarely dumps it in as he tries to carry it leaving 1 forward on his line to retrieve.

Bennett Lucic and the full bottom 6 bust their tail each shift.
Tkachuk gets a pass as he can’t be me everything every night.
Johny has been a liability on the ice more than a threat this year which is something I never imagined.

That effort is fairly in line with the majority of the games the Flames have played this season. Moments of compete, lack of finish, then sort of roll over in the third period and hope for the best.

Yeah, if this team needs a new coach every year to make the playoffs maybe it’s time to look at dropping a hand grenade into the core. Coaching isn’t the issue. Gulutzan was bad but I don’t think Hartley or Peters were the reason.

4/6 of the top 6 players have no heart. Tkachuk and Lindholm. That’s it. But Tkachuk can sometimes get too caught up in it (such as tonight or the games against Doughty).

This team also lacks one more true top-6 player.

The problem is when posters specifically name players and say that they are engaging in illegal activity. Which isn't what you did - but was the post that started this all.
