Drive from northern bc last night. Woke the kids up early to get to game day skate. Drive to the dome and got there at 9:30. Lady at the door tells us the flames decided not to have a game day skate. Which didn’t make much sense at the time. Now I’m seeing posts of the game day skate. Was it actually just closed to the public? Our first saddledome experience so I’m just a little surprised.

By chance, ended up in the city so had a look and picked up some tickets online for the game tonight! Going alone and in the nosebleeds but super stoked for it!
Quick question for those that have gone recently. Is it enough to have the ticket on your phone for scanning or does it have to be a paper copy? Thanks!

Phone is okay. I generally take a screenshot of the bar code though. That way you are not fiddling around with Internet when in line.

Peters is a beauty, without doubt. No nonsense, and you don’t want to be on his bad side, which is what fear these guys need..but he’s all for the tradition and individualism too.
Not to derail this thread, but every time you see the locker room is exhibit 1a why the Flames need a new rink. As soon as two kids pop in to draw along side, it’s bursting at the seams and guys barely have shoulder room to sit and listen while in street clothes.
