Not all of us. I am currently watching a hockey game because hockey is amazingly entertaining. I will watch the Flames tonight because they are my favourite team and hockey is amazingly entertaining.

If the team feels Hamonics stepping up was response enough and they want to look forward then if nothing happens then that’s what was for the best of the team. But how Gudbranson looks at the issue doesn’t matter IMO on how the Flames choose to address it or not address it.

Classy response, and I don't feel Prout needs to seek him out, but I do think it's not acceptable for Hamonic to be out with a broken jaw, and I do think Calgary needs to make a statement physically. Even if you don't mean to make a bad hit, you should always have it in the back of your mind taking liberties it's going to be met with literal push back.

Before you zamboni a kitten, you may want to double check you have the terms fragility and loyalty straight.

Is it so bad that different people have different emotional reactions to how the team performs? It’s much more interesting to talk and read about hockey than to read opinions on people’s approach to being a fan IMO.

I think it comes down to impact, and I don't know the answer to this.
A fan of a team is hopeful. When they lose they are disappointed. But then the have to spend three days battling overt negative overreactions is actually depressing as hell.
Is the same true of the other side?
Do people that enjoy wallowing in losses to some degree find optimistic people a challenge? Do they find it equally as depressing to have to logically defend how bad things are when fans seem too happy?
