It probably has something to do with the fact the media continues to shove him down everyone's throats at every opportunity.

Then you watch him play and watch him whine to officials, flop all over the ice and get gift wrapped calls and you can't really help but hate the kid.

They should really start naming these OOT threads "Rejean's Greaser GT".

You guys watch more Oiler hockey than I do.

The Devils were garbage from start to finish. Amazing that it even got to OT.

This might have been the first time all year that I watched the Oilers and they were clearly the better team. Seems all I've seen all season is Talbot standing on his head and the Oil surviving with some puck luck.

Tonight they were dominant and if the Devils had squeaked it out, it would have been as fortunate as the Nucks were last night.

Wow. Putrid play/turnover by hall that lead to the "penalty".

McDavid also got a non-call when he went crashing into Schneider in OT. If that goes in I'm pretty sure they call it back for goalie interference (although with McDavid, he'd probably get a penalty shot out of it somehow).

Well, it will be great when the Flames steamroll them in a week or two.

At least they'll take them more seriously than a lot of their opponents have lately. A lot of C-grade efforts from the opposing teams, which is sad to see. This league is going a bit soft.

If I were an Oiler fan I'd come to these out of town threads after every win and stroke it. It's pure Schaudenfraude served up on a platter. Damn crybabies around here.

Getting rid of Hall was addition by subtraction.

Maybe Larsson is actually all they could get for him. Wouldn't be surprised. Just a dumb low IQ player. It really is too bad he's not an Oiler anymore.

To be fair it seems you've only started to watch the Oilers this season. I can't ever remember this much little Oiler trolling from you previously.

There's not enough to troll this year. I'm sure the time is coming.

Every year I do find the time to register my amazement at how much they get watched and talked about by your fanbase, though. This isn't new. I can find the posts for you if you want, but I'm not sure it's worth the time.

This is actually the most I've followed them in years, but that's more because of an ill-conceived bet a friend of mine made with me. Silly Flames fans.

Eh, they should have gotten more for Hall. He was top 5 for 5 on 5 production since coming into the NHL. They aren't winning because of that trade. The team is horrible when McDavid is not on the ice.

Posts by me or by others? Cause I couldn't care less about others obsessions.

And I have no doubt this is the most you've followed them in years. I'll also safely assume those years = ten.

No, I meant my posts.

Must be close to ten. When was Pronger given away?

Icecube, can you be sure to be online 24/7 so I can PM you before daring to express an opinion about something? I would hate to offend your delicate sensibilities the way people have in this thread.

SportsnetWest.

We get every Flames game, and every Oiler game. If it isn't Saturday night, or if you don't have Gamecenter, watching hockey means watching the Flames and the Oilers.

Also: rivalry

Pretty straight-forward.
