Devils should be relegated to the AHL with the way they're playing.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the NHL is doing everything in their power to get the beloved Oilers and their new building back into the playoffs.

They wouldn't want such a storied franchise setting an NHL record for playoff futility.

It's ridiculous how much love McDavid gets from the officials.

Two courtesy points to the Oilers on behalf of the NHL.

It doesn't even surprise me anymore. The NHL is the gift that keeps on giving to the Edmonton Oilers.

The grease fully deserved their 2 points tonight, NJ was garbage. Still kind of hilarious how Mc####stick gets so many calls his way though.

At least they used to be an effective team, even though they were horrible to watch. Now they're horrible to watch AND an absolutely completely ineffective sad sack team.

Devils don't deserve to win that game anyway with the way they were playing. But yea, the refs basically gift-wrapped those 2 points for the Oilers thanks to that phantom slashing call on McDipsh--t.

Oilers pretty much deserved that one. Schneider got the Devils a point - they are terrible and made the Oilers look like a playoff contender.

It's not like Edmonton didn't completely dominate the game from start to finish

FYP. This is why they are so far down in the Eastern Conference. Such a sad sack team.

Yet they still needed help with a phantom slashing call to win the game.

Agreed, not much has gone right this year, but they are without Barkov, Huberdeau, and Bjugstad. It wouldn't be so bad, but guys like Jokinen, Trocheck, Smith et al are having poor years as well. They just can't score any goals and the defense that Gallant put in the team game has disappeared along with him.

After such a promising year last year, this is extremely disappointing.
