No, but the team clearly intends to keep Bollig around for specific match-ups. So his playing the least doesn't matter in the least.

Raymond, Jooris or Granlund are gone when Frolik comes back. Probably one of the first two.

I am for Colbourne to be a trade bait. I think he has values in many teams` eyes.

Not sure why you'd want to waive Bollig or Colborne. Bollig adds size and 4th line grit as necessary. Colborne is another big body centerman who can and will crash the net. Flames need those two players. The obvious choice is sending Granlund back down to minor and waive Raymond. Flames need to make some trades or waive someone and hopefully get rid of some garbage. In a perfect Flames world, Hiller should've been gone before the season began.

Jooris probably will get waived, and then claimed, and then find success on another team's roster.

Colborne is pretty bad at hockey and every game that passes just makes it all the more clear.

Colborne has trade value of you want to go that road.

He isn't the weakest link.

I would imagine Raymond is one, he was Treliving's big signing 18 months ago after he had a career year with the Leafs as a waiver pickup.

I doubt the owners care where they are wasting their money on Raymond. Saving 276K by sending Granlund down to keep a scrub like Mason is probably not a huge pressing economic concern.

I agree. The owners are paying Raymond his money no matter where he is. If keeping him up is worse for the big team then there is no advantage monetarily to keep him up.

They have already gave him a chance to showcase himself in hopes that they could somehow get out of that contract, but that ship has sailed.

I would like to think that we are still keeping an eye to the future somewhat and give Granlund some more time to develop in the NHl. Although he has looked like he lost some of his original call up jump I see him making some good plays, and don't think that we are hurting him by playing in the NHL.

I still think that Bollig could be useful but needs a little more playing time to make sure that he doesn't completely rust up. Where as Jooris has been noticeable in a good way most of his games this year.

TLDR Wave Raymond, you are paying him no matter where he is.

I don't know that BT has "his boys" but if Raymond was one of them, would he have put him on waivers?

Raymond was never put on waivers. Is lies, all lies. Raymond is tool of evil capitalist conspiracy to spend big money putting bad players on ice. Imperialist exploiters Treliving and Hartley sit in secret underground HQ and cackle at fans every time Flames lose. All part of master plan.

Jooris, it was a cute story last year but it's time for him to go bye bye.

Has he really?

He's taken a lot of dumb penalties, that's about it.

He's been on the right side of the puck and those calls have been iffy. A good chunk of his offense last year came with Johnny, so I don't see him putting out big points. He will however, chip in more than Raymond, Bollig or Colborne if put in the same positions. He will also continue to be on the right side of the puck and push the play forward, which none of those other guys do. He's also one of the best pkers we have

Jooris is a plug. He did what he was supposed to do in the beginning, which is make it hard to pull him out of the lineup. He doesn't do that anymore, and now it's time to move on.

Iffy? Well that's debatable.

He's not a very good Pk'er if he's continually putting his team on the PK.
