When does Granlund lose his waiver exempt status? That's when something real happens.

I'm not sure there's a defintiive answer due to the tiny sample sizes. But my eye test tells me Jooris wins puck battles and fits well with Johnny, Monny, Bennett etc, that Raymond has had some underrated games ruined by him being on the PP, that Colborne's ability to carry the puck sometimes creates scoring chances but more often ends up in frustrating turnovers, and that Bollig is just.. there.

But the WOWY's (75+ minutes played together):

Raymond
W Backlund - 51.1 %
Backlund When Apart 50.2%

W Wideman - 44.7 %
Wideman When Apart 46.2 %
W Russell - 42.8%
Russell When Apart - 44.4
W Hamilton - 48.4 %
Hamilton When Apart -49.2 %

Colborne
W Stajan -
47.2
Stajan When Apart - 47.4
W Gio - 48.8
Gio When Apart - 48.5
W Brodie - 51.9
Brodie When Apart - 49.3

W Jones - 40.7
Jones When Apart - 44.6
W Russell - 43.5
Russel When Apart - 44.3
W Hamilton - 51.8
Hamilton When Apart - 48.2
W Ferland - 51.1
Ferland When Apart - 49.4

W Wideman - 44.3
Wideman When Apart - 46.3

Bollig (Tiny 50 minute samples used)
Engelland - 48.1
Engelland Without - 46.9

Jooris - 44.1
Jooris Without - 53.1

Stajan - 53.8
Stajan without - 46.6

Jooris (50 minute sample used)
Russell - 43.2
Russell WO - 44.3
Hamilton - 46.2
Hamilton WO - 49.5

Engelland - 51.2
Engelland WO - 46.1
Wideman - 47.7
Wideman WO - 45.7

Bollig - 44.1
Bollig WO - 49.2

I don't think advanced stats tell you much about depth wingers like these four. Rare is the depth winger who consistently drives play, and his name was Paul Byron.

The one consistent trend, is Kris Russell drags everybody down in advanced stats.

I have no idea what Bollig has done to stay. Ferland has made him expendable.

I don't mind keeping Colborne and Raymond if we're forced to.

Agreed, Bollig brings close to nothing to the team.

Add me to the Colborne supporters.
I like what he brings to the team. I would attempt to move Stajan before him let alone the obvious names like Raymond, and Jooris.

I would put Colborne on waivers. I also think our PK would have been much better, and possibly our confidence and energy in the early part of the season if we had kept Byron. I am also a big Stajan supporter.

Colborne has been very underwhelming this season. He has had 1 decent hit in his late handful of games. He is quite soft for such a big boy.

There's a pretty good chance another injury or two will make the question of waiving anyone from the current roster irrelevant.

Yup. He's an NHL player, just not the player that Hartley seems to think he is. He's not a first-unit-PP player, and at this point I doubt he ever will be. But he's a guy who we got for a 4th rounder, with a reasonable contract, and would be picked up (and possibly used more appropriately) by most teams in the league.

Hasn't Raymond already cleared waivers this season? Why would he have to go through them again?

Because he's been back up the required number of games. Anyway I say you waive whoever has played the least games lately. So that's Bollig.

If we make the playoffs we are going to need Bollig. He isnt going anywhere.

Well I'm pretty sure Bollig would clear so it doesn't really matter.
