Don't forget, Conroy's best friend was Dougie's teammate 2 years ago. Connie even mentioned he discussed it with Iggy. I'm sure they looked into it

Wasn't there an article the other week about Avery saying guys have to drop out at age 16 (so like grade 10) to focus on hockey? Good for Hamilton, he's already set up his future.

Virtually every junior team has academic advisors and want their players to at least get through high school. If he said that... its not true.

Yes - Connie said Iggy texted him when the trade was announced and said something to the effect that the Flames got one heck of a hockey player in Hamilton.
All the rest of this rumour-mongering and innuendo is just high school level journalism and I'm surprised the Bruins organization has not tried to shut it down. It just looks like sour grapes on their part.

Should you be though? They are probably the ones feeding the rumour.

Boston was always my favorite team from the east. When Iginla finally ended up there, o couldn't help but cheer for them, as well as the Flames of course.
After this all started I couldn't help but think back to the series "behind the B".
Neely was kinda pushing for the Seguin trade and Chiarelli was reluctant but pulled the trigger.
Now with what has happened with the Chirelli firing, DH and Lucic crap, I have to wonder if Neely is the bad apple here..
Amazing hockey player, perhaps a terrible front office guy that set franchise back atleast years if not more by moving their next franchise dman?

Bruins fans are calling him their own Kevin Lowe.

It would appear that reports of former Bruins defenseman Dougie Hamilton being an “uppity kid” have been highly exaggerated.
A Bruins player reached out to CSNNE.com early Tuesday after reading an anonymous quote over the weekend that Hamilton “was not well-liked” in the B’s dressing room.
“Dougie is one of the nicest guys I’ve played with!” the player said in a text message to CSNNE.com. “So if anyone says he wasn’t well-liked or anything [like that], it’s not true. I just wanted to set the record straight.”
