I've been impressed with his game whenever he's been up this year. While he is an incredible physical presence this series, he has no shortage of skill in his game either. He has some serious upside IMO.

And wow has a been a force against the Canucks.

Lets see if we can turn it up a notch on Tuesday and feed the beast even more noise!

I went to the Abbotsford Heat close-out sale last year. A few game-worn jerseys were still available by the time I got in the door, including Ferlands. It was ferking huuuge so I bought Klimchuk's instead. Oh well.

Loving his game right now. Can't wait to hear the apoplectic sputtering from one particular Canucks fan at work!

How can you not love this kid? Absolute warrior on the ice, and has really turned his life around off the ice since his assault charge by overcoming his alcohol problem.

Really been a great story this year, both on and off the ice.

I love though that GIF of bikes a shows him beating ferland down but in reality, the linesman saved bikes a's life. This GIF is no good.

So great to see him live up to what several of us have been proclaiming he might be one day.

I recall Enoch Root in particular being very vocal in his belief that Ferland could be a special type of impact player in the NHL.

The question now is do I get a #79 Ferland jersey, or wait for his new number?

Just some rookies having fun before training camp...

Back in September, who ever would have imagined we'd be here today?

Hate to be the one to get ahead of anything but I can't help but imagining Ferland against Perry, I think the "heavy" advantage Anaheim had on us is shrinking.

In order to be the best, you need to beat the best.

I can't wait til Smith and Carroll join the team in a couple seasons.

He has the hitting and agitating, but there was a great quote of someone who played with him in junior. I can't find it, but it went something like the guy has scoring touch you wouldn't think he has.....and when someone fights him, they end up on their backs dazed and confused.
