I guess Hartley really wasn't kidding about splitting the season into 7 game series. Hopefully, today for the 100th time he wins one 4:3... As Hartley said, we didn't make it easy, but we sure made it interesting.

You have a valid point with Iggy but Tanguay can go rot. That guy quit on us more than once and was a sulky loser. Don't know how you can group those two together.

Tanguay was unbelievable in the Avs game 7 win against the Devils for their 2nd Stanley Cup.
Partly why it was so exciting when we first landed him. Dude looked like a clutch performer.
4 points against the Coyotes while offering up 0 points was a great indicator this team might have what it takes to end our drought. Let's keep it going against the Avs!

Iginla is my favourite all time. Having said that, I am so glad that there is almost no hype about his second return. We have moved on.
Go Flames Go.

Probably Sven's last game in the NHL for a while. Hopefully he makes it count.

Why? Knight was already sent down so Stajan could be activated.

Is Varlamov slated to start tonight? He's got some serious rust to shake off so he may be good for a few softies.
Add that on top of the fact I don't think the Av's D corps will be able to withstand the Flames pressure on the forecheck and transition speed , at the very least the Flames should get a point out of tonights tilt.
Then again, Iggy's back and could be inspired to put the gears to his old team.

399-299 now.
399+1 = 400-299 after tonight.
7 game series x 100 times = 700 games
400 + 299 != 700
One of those series would be 4:2 if all the others were 4:3. I like game sevens and all, but I'm ok if he goes 6 to do it against his former team.

Oh how quickly we forget how good Tanguay was when he started here. He was PPG one season if I remember correctly.

I really hope there are no jackass Iginla fans tonight cheering the guy on if he gets on the score sheet. And I sure as hell hope nobody cheers against any of our players when they shut Iginla down (like that empty net shot that Russell stopped last year).

This. I love Iggy, but it's a new era now. Cheer for the team.

God I hope it is shown out here in Tofino, because the internet connection really sucks where I'm staying.

Monahan and gio each with a 1 goal and 1 assist. Gaudreau and hudler each with two points as well.

The logic of a true computer science major, hehe. I was hoping no one will catch that part. It is funny that that's what bothers you and not the fact that the Flames are on an 11-4 run at the moment.
