Will Johnny be the RW? From what I remember Sven struggled being the RW in Abbotsford.

I'm a little bit PO'd another game isn't on TV. What gives?

I would have loved to see these lines play. I hope the young guys have a great game. I wouldn't mind seeing Ferland on a line with Monahan and JG if things aren't clicking with Sven.

I take it there's no chance of the flames having an internet stream of the game tonight?

Other than eyeballs, it's tougher to find game-by-game possession numbers with Extra Skater gone. I'll post my source later when can get the URL from home. For now, can confirm that JG has been the best in a limited sample size so far. Monahan good as well.

I'll see if I can capture some vid footage. Not sure if it's going to be clear when zoomed in. Maybe I'll just get the jumbotron highlights like people did vs. the Avs.

Who would've thought Diaz would be leading the team statistically in preseason by this point?

Edit: And didn't Gaudreau have 2 assists vs. Phoenix? I could swear he did.

Anyone else think this will be the last shot for the young guns? There are a lot of them in the line-up.

My guess is the last two games with be essentially the final line-up minus the final four or so bubble guys.

Doubt they wait much longer to make final cuts so they can get the regulars up to speed for opening night.

My guess is that Brookbank, Wotherspoon, Knight, Yonkman, Kulak, Acolaste, Arnold, Grandlund, Klimchuk and Jooris are gone after this game.

Young guys I think stick with help of injuries are Sieloff, Potter, Diaz, Ferland, Bennett, Gaudreau, Reinhart. Only guys I think will stick once everyone's healthy are Ferland and Gaudreau on forward and Diaz on defense.

Yes, I noticed extra skater is gone, the guy got hired by an NHL team correct? Interested to see where you're getting that from, thanks. Also very interesting that Monahan is ranked high this year, because IIRC he was pretty bad in possession last season? Could point to a real improvement for him, or perhaps simply that in preseason the opposition is significantly weaker. Time will tell - I am optimistic on Monahan this year, might have to draft him!

Pretty sure he has a couple of points. Must be a conspiracy so it's easier to send him down.

He had the second assist on the Glencross OT game winner for sure. His smarts set up a play for a goal earlier in the game but he was not credited with a point.

Must be.

It's a well known fact that Gaudreau never goes a season under a point per game. Even a preseason.

With Colby going back to center he'd only have to fight with Jones, Setoguchi and McGrattan.
Fyi the projected lines on flames website match the original projection with the Gaudreau Monahan Baertschi

I am predicting a big game by the kid line... I tried to come up with a nickname for their line but it sure wasn't easy.
