Most of the posters in the original thread seemed to agree that, while an immature gesture by the husband, it is obviously not born from nothing and that it was up to her to communicate her personal issues that are affecting their relationship.

As someone whom was in a relationship with someone whos sex drive appeared to be taking a nose dive, I can almost guarantee this has been a source of frustration with this guy for a while.
Turns out it was her birth control pill, that s**t can really screw with a girls libido. In some cases, permanently. Soon as she came off them, things were almost back to normal.
